I'm a man split between teams! Born & raised in NY I love the Yanks. But I've been living in Florida now for some 35 years, so I've really grown to like the Rays as well. It's funny, whenever theres a Rays / Yankees game on TV I find myself cheering for both teams. We went to the Trop to see a Yanks and Rays game 2 years ago and people sitting around us thought I was crazy when I started cheering play after play for both teams! I just enjoy watching good baseball.

I think what made Hamel doing this a bit more(less?) classless was basically admitting after the game that he had thrown at the kid. I mean I have no problem with brushing him back but I agree with you Sue...purposely hitting someone with a 90 mph fastball is not only wrong, it could be deadly. I mean a pitcher can get his point across without actually hitting the guy.

It tilts me thinking we could've had Hamilton's 4 home runs. Only way I'd be ok with the trade is if Mat Latos turns out really good. Otherwise, awful trade for volquez and herrera.
