for me in order:
1- EDSON ARANTES (pelé)
2 - GARRINCHA
3- MARADONA
These 3 names are your virtual reality. Do you know any of them personally? Do you prefer to watch how someone lives a life instead of living your own life? I'm the best football player of all times, it's my world = my rules.
Sorry I simply can't understand fanatical behavior of lady Gaga fans, football fans, flat earth theory fans, TV series fans and other types of drug users.
If psychological explanation isn't good then check mathematical one:
24hrs * 365days * 100 years = 876.000 hours is a 100 year life.
Will we live 100 years? It depends, but 30% is sleep time, some time has passed already... plus you have to eat, walk, wash and so on... so how many effective hours have you got? 100-200K?
How many of these hours you're willing to spend watching your favorite player/actor/singer???
If 100 million people watched that final match, and it lasted 2 hours, then in total 200 million human-hours have been spent. 100year life is 876K hours... and 200 million human-hours have been spent for watching THE BALL AND 22 PLAYERS!... How can this be different from totally erasing 220 human lifes like if they have never existed? 200 million human-hours / 876K hours.
Isn't it a waeapon of mass dsistruction? Isn't it a weapon of your personal dehradation? What have you learned and what was your profit after watching your favorite match or tv show? Have you started to do something better? Started to earn more money? To live a better life? To do something useful for the society?
That's the answer why some people are millionaires, while others admire Game Of Thrones, Kardashians and Ronaldos... Some people are filling the emptiness inside them with knowledge, actions and they get results, other people are feeling the emptiness with GOOOOOL and get nothing.
So, in other words, Pele was good because he was focused on improving his personal world, his skills and abilities. Can you be good, if you're focused on him, instead of being focused on yourself?:icon_rr:
