Should be some good games - Jets/Green Bay and Pats/Vikings amongst others.

How bout them Cowboys? Jags dominated the whole game with Kitna throwing INTs while Garrard threw TDs:D Dallas is going to have an interesting offseason.

Don't look now but the Patriots have the best record in the NFL!:) The also have the longest winning streak this season with 5.

(Granted, this might chnage in the next couple of weeks so I'm enjoying it while I can.)

The best move the Patriots made was trading away Randy Moss.

Somebody in the Randy Moss is traded thread said something like this the day after the trade :D
I enjoyed the postgame respect shown by both parties yesterday. The owner, Belechek, Brady all know Moss is a great talent, its just not the way Belechek likes to operate, essentially trying to work a hall of fame reciever into your gameplan every week.
Deion Branch, Brandon Tate, Danny Woodhead, who are these guys ....

I'm so sick of hearing the Cowboys are underachieving. Tony fockin Romo is/was the QB. Undrafted out of Eastern Illinois, did I say Eastern Illinois, and this is the guy they start building the team around 3 years ago. Miles Austin, again, undrafted reciever out of Monmouth, Monmouth???? Let me guess, Mr. Jones gave these guys huge contracts, so funny. And spare me the pro bowl chit, and don't try and blow numbers up my azz. These guys played small college football and weren't drafted for a reason. Yet now they are considered underachievers, please.

Next to Fran Tarkington, Bret Farve is the funnest QB to watch play an NFL game, I'm not saying talented, I'm saying fun to watch. A slinger who can make a miraculous toss one minute and the most boneheaded throw the next. But it has become increasingly painful for me to watch his 41 year old body take these hits, I wish he would just hang them up and go coach HS ball, which he would absolutely love doing, thats the kind of guy he is.

Tonight is the biggest game in the history of the Houston Texans franchise. A chance to take the baton from the lontime AFC South dominate Colts. A win tonight would send them to thier best 7 game start in team history, a 1 game lead in the division, and a season sweep over the aforementioned Colts. Most will say, no way, Colts at home, Peyton Manning, big game, not me, its time, very talented team.
Texans 27-20:icon_sunn

Because he didn't try to catch that pass on the "free play" where new england jumped offsides, he was taking plays off again. On occasion, last night, he completely stopped on various routes designed for him and left brett out to dry. He's a terrible player.

Oh yea, and the Steelers lost to the Saints in the Superdome....

:musicus:

lol :p

That was part of it. But I think the worst thing was his post-press conference where he hailed Belichick and blasted the Vikings' playcalling. That kind of behavior is unacceptable.

Ya our offense was horrible, or their defense was great, I dunno. It was a great game to watch until the last quarter.

I do not know who that player is, he looks familiar, but I think they all look the same, lol.

Some awesome games this past weekend.

It was great to tune into the Giants game and hear that the score being 35-0 at halftime :)

Yea, Oakland was ready obv.

Some awesome games this past weekend.

It was great to tune into the Giants game and hear that the score being 35-0 at halftime :)

The biggest surprise, imo, was Cleveland shredding NE easily. Peyton Hillis (sp) had 180+ rushing yards.

Oh yea, and Raheem Morris thought Tampa was the best team in the NFC? Wonder if he's changed his mind....

What's up with the Browns? They just beat the Saints and Patriots. I don't expect them to beat the Steelers or Ravens in the division, but Holgrem seems to be turning the team around.

Wade Phillips fires Jerry Jones

Orrrrrrr vice versa, seems the underachieving head coach of the underachieving team got the axe today, prolly about 3 weeks late.
Now they need a new head coach as well as a pro level QB, and a defense.:musicus:

GO EAGLES !

CBA

It's been a very exciting up and down season for some, with some interesting surprises. Hey thats the NFL, any given Sunday.
After the season ends The NFL meets the CBA, CBA is the new catchy way of stating the collective bargaining agreement. CBA is a term your gonna hear a lot in the next 6 months. If the players and owners don't come to a CBA, there will be no NFL next year. Most of the pundits on TV say a work stopage is inevitable. This will suck  !

I can't see a clear favorite for the eventual Superbowl Champs yet - right now, Giants are strong but as with the Jets and Pats when they looked unbeatable, things change from week to week. Saints are coming back, Browns could be anything....who knows!
