Steelers are a great team,but not super bowl great,,,still missing a few pieces to the puzzle i think.They have a great offence,,but their defence is a little soft this year,,,watch out for those Cowboys,he he :angel:

The Defense is really coming around. In the beginning of the year they were awful but the rookies are really coming around.

Steelers D is ranked 8th in Yards per Game (Patriots are 10th)
Ranked 5th in Rushing yards per game.
They are ranked 9th overall. They were ranked 27th.
Ranked #1 in sacks over the past four games with 18. (Not including last weeks game - they had 1 sack).

The Defense doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be decent and watch out. Especially once Sammie Coates gets over the broken finger injury and Heyward-Bey coming back from a foot injury.


Of course none of this matters if they lose to the Ravens. Lol

Massive game on Christmas day for Steelers.

Steelers v Patriots AFC final whoever wins, wins the superbowl. Got either Giants or Packers coming out of NFC

It also saved the Steelers season as well. My real problem is with them this year is there secondary. My Eagles carved them up in Week 3, but this is a different Steelers team from that week.

Now assuming the playoffs seedings are UNCHANGED, then the Steelers will host Miami and Houston will have a rematch with the Chiefs. I think Big Ben can get things done aginst the Phins. If that happens then they will play the Carr-less Raiders. That could be a game they can win.

So as of now I got them going to the AFC divisional round with the possibility of the AFC Championship. My pick every year since the Tuck rule game has been the Pats save for the year Brady went out for the year in Week 1.

As for the Superbowl, I got the Patriots and the Packers right now.

Patriots are going to be tough - QB injuries for Miami, Oakland and Houston lack of QB should give them an easy ride to AFC championship. It will be interesting to see how the Cowboy rookies handle the pressure in the NFC.
