Congratulations to London for the opening of the Olympics, i watched some excerpts from the ceremony, i like a lot of special effects and love Mr Bean, it really is very funny.

I intend to follow some sports especially soccer in my country, despite this current selection disgusts me, the best players were not summoned, the selection of soccer is now a major political organization, which affect much of the soccer

So far this morning I've watched parts of cycling, women's fencing, women's soccer, women's table tennis, women's handball, and some swimming prelims. Love the Olympics.

I didn't see it and don't have a clue about cycling either, but the gist I got was basically Cav couldn't win because the peloton tried making GB do all the work to catch the chase the lead group which is impossible.

Meh not really. The Germans were in the front of the peloton most of the time. I don't know enough about cycling to say why they do what they do but I'd say just misjudged how fast the break away group was going to be able to get there.

Yeah I'm loving the Olympic action, in particular all of the obscure events. I spent a little while watching water polo today, haha a very interesting sport.
Spent a little time watching gymnastics as well. Swimming is on as I type this...Olympics is always a great event to watch
