Utah Jazz @ Houston Rockets:
Utah Jazz (to win) /// 2.00
Last bet lost. Too many turnovers for Orlando and too many difficult shots for Paolo Banchero. And not just him. In general, Philly just played better on defense. I need to recognize that and move on. Orlando's home magic hasn't worked for the 76ers in this season. My betting scores are NBA 36-44 in favor of the unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of the successful, NFL+NCAAF 3-7 in favor of the unsuccessful.
New bet: Utah on the road will beat Houston. We have a strange pair of teams tonight. Utah has been terrible at the start of the season (especially in road games), but Houston has played very, very solid (especially in home games) at the start of the season. But after Christmas, there was a miracle for some and a very serious game slump for others. I think it's clear to everyone that Utah is in incredible shape right now! Houston, on the other hand, is just awful. The only advantage for the Rockets is that they are playing at home against Utah. But will that help Houston? I don't think so. The Jazz are playing with too much power! Utah has all their players fully healthy, great bench depth, great coaching. In their last two road games, Utah has beaten Milwaukee (by 16 points) and Philadelphia (by 11 points). Houston has a home back-to-back with Boston right after game with Utah! It's hard to say which game Ime Udoka will sacrifice, but I still think he has the Boston game on his mind, as it's important to him. And if the game doesn't go according to Houston's plan (for example, Utah wins by 15-20 points in the 3rd quarter), Ime Udoka will put all of his starters on the bench (like Joseph Mazzulla has done not too long ago in the game against Milwaukee). Utah will have a break in games after the game against Houston, so all energy will be thrown into the game against Houston. The bookies give us juicy odds of "2.00"! Shall we bet? Sure!
