NBA
Los Angeles Lakers @ Orlando Magic:
Los Angeles Lakers (- 2.5) /// 1.78
Last bet won. Starting with a 30-29 score, Milwaukee completely took control of the game and even led by 14 points in the 3rd quarter. And it looked like the Bucks would take this game to a 15-20 point win by the final score. But the Knicks showed their character and succeeded in taking a 2-point lead with 70 seconds left in the game. But what happened then? What time is it? It's Dame time! In fact, Lillard won the clutch! I told you after the Hawks game that Dame would be fine. And of course, Brook Lopez's blocks. 8 blocks in a game! And that's at almost 36 years old! My goodness! The total score of my bets: NBA 5-6 in favor of unsuccessful, MLB 30-27 in favor of successful, NFL+NCAAF 2-3 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Lakers will win by 3 or more points today in Orlando! I'm certainly confused by the number of injured Lakers (Jarred Vanderbilt, Rui Hachimura, Jalen Hood-Schifino and now plus Gabe Vincent), but Taurean Prince should be back tonight (he's officially questionable on the injured list). Orlando will be without key frontcourt player Wendell Carter Jr.! In the context of the roster changes after the recent Lakers and Magic game, if we're talking about the importance of the roles of Gabe Vincent and Wendell Carter Jr. on the teams, Orlando lost a more significant player. As it is Gabe Vincent has so far been an unsuccessful signing (1-14 field goals made overall on three point shots through the first 4 games of the regular season). That's probably Pelinka's biggest failure so far this offseason. But I believe Vincent will return to the level he showed in Miami. And even with the injuries, the Lakers have enough bench depth. Statistically, the Lakers have won 9 of their last 10 games against Orlando by 3 points or more. Again, the loss of Wendell Carter Jr. - is a green corridor for LeBron, Davis, Wood and Hayes into Orlando's paint! Bet? Absolutely!
