I have been comparing PS to other sites concerning rake. It seems PS has the lowest on the low limits. So if you can pull it off anywhere, it's propably PS. Or am I missing something?

My friend, help me to make this money, because I try in all ways to get out of scratch and only what I get is bad beat, I play the best way, today I do not bluff more like in the past, always looking to train good games and even then I always end up losing. What should I do to make money? I'm sad about my results.
you are a few days ago in the cc and already have a good day, try to leave the money in the accounts without spending, after you form a good BR choose a strategy, start with 0.10 games. play a large sequence of 100 games or more, try to stay 40% or more in itm

when I started to learn to play poker in July 2015 here in CC what was more difficult, was to win 100 us starting from scratch only in freerolls .... to win is necessary to know how to play, to know the game, to try various forms of play .... do not spend what you earn in freeroll, accumulate the gains, once you have at least 300us BR, choose a good strategy and go slowly testing, going up step by step, until you reach your goal .... in 2017 was the first time I got to 1k from bankroll, only with freerolls, but most of the winnings were in blacjack with bold strategies and lots of luck .... until 2018 the pokerstars casino did not work here in my Country ... I like to merge casino and poker strategies into various rooms

can you make $1000/month in poker star now?

Now, not before.
I think these problems are not connected with the railway bridge in any way
But unfortunately there is a political subtext

Nothing is impossible at poker, if you get lucky, be patient and play well you can also make more than that. I am a regular player and made $100 a month in freerolls which, of course, I play them again in tournaments, haha but the thing is that I know if got some more time for extended tournaments probably can get a little more, I am not saying I can, but there is the probability that it can happen.

I can't but could in theory if was strong mentally and dedicated more time. :) Lets say, I could play about 50-100 s'n'gs per day with $1-$2 buy ins. Most of people make bad decisions there.

yes but you need to invest if you play micro is almost impossible to reach that goal. personally i'm not interested in risking money, earning over $100 is ok for me.

It Aint Easy

VOLUME is what you'll be needing to play if we're suggesting tournament play.
Also a deposit of $1,000 would be more reasonable (200 buyins with avg. buyin $5)

Why do we need to set a 'daily poker budget'? This sounds like a 'stop loss' method to avoid going on tilt or something. (hint, IF you're prone to tilt you're not going to have a chance at earning $1k/mth.)

2 tournaments per day is another poor idea if we're hoping to reach this goal. Instead it should be>> Play 4 to 10 tournaments at a time (or whatever you're comfortable with & profitable at) & consider playing upwards of 30 tournaments per day!

At an ROI of +20%, you'd need to playing at least a total of $250 in buyins each day if we're playing 20 days each month.
If you're average buyin is $4, that equals 60 games per day!

You said it best, imo. So I'll just recap my perspective - in order.

1. Bankroll - to earn a K per month, you need a least a couple of Ks in your bankroll. Downswings will occur, and a few will be deep.
2. Time - you need to be playing solid for probably 3+ days per week. If you have a job and family, you won't have the time.
3. Skill - you need to study every day for a set amount of time. Even if your skills are good, you need to keep them sharp with hand analysis and the use of solvers. (See #2)
4. Psychology - Imo everyone can use time away from the game. You need holidays from poker to refresh your energy and total outlook. (See #2)

If we are seriously thinking about earning income from poker, we need to be focused and grounded. One successful Twitch poker streamer said it took him 4 to 5 years to build the bankroll and skill needed to live from poker. The investment of time is significant.

On the other hand, we can earn money from poker by doing the above, but we can just do it slowly and over many more years. Afterall, it nice to play poker for enjoyment, and the enjoyment is enhanced by earning a little extra Euros per month.

Of course. Depends on the type of games you play how big of a bankroll you need. If you re good in cash games you can earn it easily and gradually. Month is a huge amount of time. Every day 3-4 hours of play can get you into 100+ dollars of profit. That can be 3000 after a month But lets say you get 5 really bad days when you lose some and 10 days when you re mediocre and 15 when you re 100+. That depends if you re familiar with the level you re playing at. So learn poker, stick to one level for longer periods of time to really perfect it to the point it becomes easy and even then set the time like, now that its easy i ll go up after 10 days. So gradually is best for keeping your bankroll safe and still earning a lot. When it comes to tournaments money won can be even greater but its still up to the individual.

We'll see if it is possible
Right now i am trying to to go from$0 - $1000,-
Its been more downs than ups thats why i only have $12.-, but i am not giving up and DEFINITELY not depositing, although i know my game has gone up and i've been losing to mostly bad beats ( preflop: 65%-35%, flop: 84%-16%, turn:88%-12%, river:0%-100%)
Just freerolls and micro's.

When i do reach this goal CC comunity will definitely be the first to know:D

And WHEN i do reach that $1k THEN the action will start:cool: to see if it is possible to make $1k a month on pokerstars

Good luck at the tables and see you all on the felt:wavey:

Few people manage to do it with $ 0 bankroll But if you are no longer a beginner and have about $ 200, it is quite possible. By the way, I didn't know that PokerStars was banned in the US

It sounds like it has been awhile since you've played online poker.
I'd suggest it'd be VERY difficult to earn $1k/month with a starting bankroll of just $200 on Pokerstars 'today'. The game has changed since the days when US players were allowed to play on Stars. The competition is much tougher & the rake/ tourney fees have been increased along with rakeback & bonuses being almost eliminated. I believe it'd be difficult for an experienced player to do... even with a large starting bankroll or $2,000 or more.

Fully real, an average of 35 dollars per day, for example, a cash game. But at the box office you need to have 200-300 dollars.

Now in pokerstars you can win from 1 dollar to 2 million dollars, that depends on you, on your ability to play, on your time spent studying poker, I think if you put dedication and study you can earn that and more friend. ..

Nah even there you'd easily achieve that amount in one month

I could win $22,000,000 with only $6.00 in my account... if I purchased a lottery ticket & won with it. But I don't think this is what this thread is about. It's my perception that the original poster was inquiring if it is possible for a player to be winning $1,000/mth. with an initial bankroll of $200.

It is possible but for it to be possible, the original poster would need to be a good player... AND I believe if they are needing to ask this question then I think it's safe to assume that they're not really quite at the calibre of play to be able to do this themselves at this point (maybe.... ie. if they were lucky as in 'winning the lottery'... but not super likely).

Player would need to be playing approx. 100 tournaments per day, playing for at least 25 days per month..... 'if' they were able to maintain an ROI of +20% on average.

Can you tell me how likely it is that the OP in this thread is capable of playing 100 tournaments per DAY... for almost EVERY day?

note: this is just a rough estimate based upon suggested bankroll management guidelines while playing MTT's online. (based upon an aggressive approach of 100 buyins to start out with... which is probably fine at the micros 'IF' the player is choosing many games with smaller fields).
And yes they could begin increasing their buyins to $3, $4, or $5 if they were doing well in the first stages of the month.

Personally I think it's a tall order.

fwiw, I'd be happy to BET against you being able to accomplish this task for just 1 month. (and actually, I'm not even sure if there's a single member today on CC who is doing this).
hmm... maybe I should give it a shot? I don't think I could do it.
