Now in pokerstars you can win from 1 dollar to 2 million dollars, that depends on you, on your ability to play, on your time spent studying poker, I think if you put dedication and study you can earn that and more friend. ..
I could win $22,000,000 with only $6.00 in my account... if I purchased a lottery ticket & won with it. But I don't think this is what this thread is about. It's my perception that the original poster was inquiring if it is possible for a player to be winning $1,000/mth. with an initial bankroll of $200.
It is possible but for it to be possible, the original poster would need to be a good player... AND I believe if they are needing to ask this question then I think it's safe to assume that they're not really quite at the calibre of play to be able to do this themselves at this point (maybe.... ie. if they were lucky as in 'winning the lottery'... but not super likely).
Player would need to be playing approx. 100 tournaments per day, playing for at least 25 days per month..... 'if' they were able to maintain an ROI of +20% on average.
Can you tell me how likely it is that the OP in this thread is capable of playing 100 tournaments per DAY... for almost EVERY day?
note: this is just a rough estimate based upon suggested bankroll management guidelines while playing MTT's online. (based upon an aggressive approach of 100 buyins to start out with... which is probably fine at the micros 'IF' the player is choosing many games with smaller fields).
And yes they could begin increasing their buyins to $3, $4, or $5 if they were doing well in the first stages of the month.
Personally I think it's a tall order.
fwiw, I'd be happy to BET against you being able to accomplish this task for just 1 month. (and actually, I'm not even sure if there's a single member today on CC who is doing this).
hmm... maybe I should give it a shot? I don't think I could do it.
