Manager decision is all it says , just like that! Party leaving the Norwegian market after 20 years or so.
I just don't understand the decision, no other poker rooms are leaving the Norwegian market, it's not a regulated market.
Just a weird decision, and we'll probably never get a real answer from Party.
Lucky for us we can play on Stars, 888, GG, iPoker, unibet, etc so there's plenty of rooms around.

The decision has come from GVC, our umbrella brand - going forward we will only trade in markets which are fully licensed, and operate under regulatory guidelines
I understand its frustrating
Players affected have all been sent emails with information regarding the closure

Rabbit?
I play a lot on party poker and I see a rabbit appearing and disappearing bottom right of my screen, can anyone tell me what it is and or does? Thanks.
Also I know I can stop certain players chat but is there any way I can block them using the very annoying animations they use, why they are needed on a good poker site like Party I will never know?

You press on the rabbit, it will show you the cards that would of came, before the flop it cost you 3diamonds, after the the flop 2 diamonds and after the turn 1 diamond

Party announcing last minute closures in several countries
Party has recently announce last minute closures in several countries. There is a thread about it on CardsChat and I am sure there will be more.
I want to share with you all my experience with this.
In August 2020 I got the infamous email from Party entitled "All Good Things Must Come to an End"
They gave me 2 days notice that my account would be suspended indefinitely.
This was while I was enrolled in and playing a 3 day tournament. I didnt make it to day 3 but I have no doubt that no one realized or even cared that I would not be able to finish the tournament had I made it to day 3.
They took days to respond to my requests to cash out my tournament tickets won. No refunds were given for any of the $250 in tickets spent in this 3 day tournament which I could never win because I would be locked out of the poker room on the start of day 3. And yes I did check and I was locked out of the poker room like clockwork when the email said I would be.
They were clueless when I complained and just quoted their policy against converting tickets into cash.
I eventually got a hold of someone to look into it, but it was like pulling teeth. They converted my 1 remaining $125 tournament entry into cash but not before trying to convince me I had to play it.
Then to finally get them to initiate a wire transfer took another 45 days. They already had my documents. I still had to submit multiple times before it took or anyone even acknowledged me.
It was not a pleasant experience nor easy.
From what I could ascertain, Party decided not to renew their gaming license in Panama. I am certain this wasnt a last minute decision on their part.
This showed me how much they actually care about their players. Especially the ones that will not generate them anymore revenue.
I highly recommend people look elsewhere when choosing a site to play.

The rabbit is part of the gamification features added earlier in the year - if you click on the rabbit it activates a rabbit feature, which shows which cards would have played opt if you opt to use it There are also large emojis and items which can be thrown at other players
You can turn off the gamification features under Settings (clog icon on the right in the lobby)
Settings > Interactive features

I've got 1000 PartyPoker Live dollars that expire in a few days. Due to the Pandemic, my local live venue (Playground Poker) has been closed for poker since March. I can't figure out how to register for any online games to use the PPL$s.
When I contacted Customer Support and asked, they sent me links to the PPL$ pages (in Russian). I have no idea what to do.

What happened with this? Partypoker is still claiming to be the place where no one has an "unfair advantage" still they are excluding whole markets from analyzing their played hands while others have been able to do so for a year. I guess the company image is just hypocrisy?

Have you tried using MuchBetter? Party, PS, 888, GG all accept deposits using MuchBetter and as far as I am aware looking at their FAQ MuchBetter operate in Norway.
Could be worth a look for you, there is no fees for depositing/withdrawing with them either and the offer p2p transfers.

This is mostly a vent as I don't expect much to come of it.
Last night I did the PP Advent Calendar promotion and got a $3 casino bonus. I saw the wagering requirements to clear the bonus (and any winnings) were pretty hard, but not completely impossible so I tried my luck and eventually cleared it for $30.40 and built it up to $35.50.
My account is fairly old, I've had it for over 10 years, maybe even 15, but it was never verified. I remember making deposits and withdrawals way back.
Now the problem, I decided to try and verify my account and sent clear pics of the front and back of my Drivers License. The pics are fine, they are the exact same pics I used to verify my 888 account, but I got this response:
"Unfortunately, the copy of the document you provided could not be accepted as it does not comply with our security requirements."
The only government picture ID I have is a DL, I haven't had a passport in many years so I guess I'm out of luck.
Here's a couple of pics showing the cleared bonus, my current bankroll and the response to my verification attempt.
