Was there a problem with the poker client yesterday evening, at 888. I was playing Sunday evening the 21.01.18 and the games were running very slow. I was waiting for the free roll at 2100 hrs. But gave up at 2030. And shut down.
Yes there was an issue for a while.
Apologies if you were inconvenienced.

I am winning 10 cents Blast tickets, and free roll tickets, when i spin the poker wheel at 888.
But when i try to use the 10 cent tickets, it is impossible. The lowest buy in at the Blast is 1 $.
Before there was a chance to use the 10 cent tickets at the 10 mans 10 cents table, but that is also blocked.
Can you please dend this issue to support@888poker.com and they will check it for you.
Thanks

Hi.I want to say 888 is a great site with most generous promotions. I win through wheel 3$ sport bet a few days ago, but can't find anywhere that free bet. Thanks !
It should be in your rewards section but when you go to have a bet it should appear on the betting slip.

I signed up for an 888 account the other day. I got some free tickets and a $1 just for signing up. That night I used a ticket and played in a satellite tournament. I placed 4th and won about $4. I quite liked the site so the next day I was going to deposit some money but after a few seconds of being logged on I was frozen out and a message said my account has been frozen and to contact an email address. I did this, had a message back saying I have to send copies of my drivers licence and a utility bill. I did this and I am now waiting for a message back. If I get back on I am not sure whether I want to deposit any money on 888 now, not sure I trust them. Has anyone else had this and what was your outcome?

That's standard procedure and nothing to worry about.
Please give me your poker user name and I will chase this up for you.
Thanks!

Blizzard recap.
XL Blizzard Day 8: Kuwait’s “sayqmyqname” Quarterback Champ, “bujalabujala” Scores for
Lithuania, and Super XL Champ “petrofv5501” Books Another Win
Day 7 of XL Blizzard, an 11-day series that runs through January 28, offered up a trio of events.
That means 21 events from the 34-tournament schedule are now in the books.
The XL Blizzard, which will award more than $2.8 million, still has several exciting events on
the schedule including Friday’s $150 buy-in Event #25: $25,000 Knockout, $160 buy-in Event
#28: $50,000 6-Max, and the $1,050 buy-in, $1,000,000 GTD Main Event on Jan. 28.
We’re also offering new promotions such as awarding big cash prizes to anyone who wins
multiple events ($1,000,000 if you can win five of them), a “Bubble of Bubbles” tournament
(gain entry if/when you bubble a tournament), and the return of the Champion of Champions
event.
The Champion of Champions returns for the XL Blizzard series and one lucky 888poker player
will win a $12,000 WSOP Vegas package. Each time you play in an XL Blizzard event, you earn
leaderboard points. The top 50 players on the leaderboard receive a ticket to the Champion of
Champions tournament to be held at 18:00 GMT on January 30.
Also, here’s a quick breakdown on what’s happened in the XL Blizzard thus far:
Day 1 – The Netherlands’ Jans “Graftekkel” Arends won the Opening Event for more than
$17K. “bygavuga” and “scellone94” capture titles.
Day 2 – “Jamasutra” and “Pasha813” notch “Twin Wins” in Events #4 & #5 Respectively.
Day 3 – Norway’s “Rekrutt1” won Event #6: Crazy 8 for more than $10K; former XL Eclipse
winners “NeveGiveUp” and “msksevart” both claimed XL Blizzard titles.
Day 4 – In Event #9: $120,000 Mega Deep, “23NoraB” found redemption from his second-place
XL Inferno Mega Deep finish. Meanwhile, three 888poker Ambassadors made deep runs in the
Whale and Niklas “tutten7” Åstedt came up short of winning a XL Blizzard not once but twice.
Day 5 – “DeltaSpider” becomes fourth Russian to win XL Blizzard title, “yarik1903” nabs
Ukraine’s second.
Day 6 – “Tonkaaaa” final tables $250K High Roller but “SteveyBG” claims title; big day for
“OINKOinkOink”.
Day 7 – “CR1TCHZ” captured Austria’s second title of the series. Malta’s “PazzoRJ” and the
UK’s “JohnJones34” both won titles.

“sayqmyqname” Puts Kuwait on the Board
Th $215 buy-in Event #22: $80,000 Quarterback allowed players to rebuy a quarter of their stack
– hence the “quarter” back – for only $50 in the instance that they lost all their chips within the
late registration period. The tournament attracted 343 players who rebought 318 times, which
created an $84,500 prize pool.
The top 45 players got paid, which left 46th
-place finisher “jucalangner” leaving empty-handed,
albeit with a consolation prize of entry into the “Bubble of Bubbles” tournament. Some
recognizable names to cash were “Kannwas” (32nd for $549.25), “KURDEdersim” (22nd for
$633.75), 888poker Ambassador Chris “888Moorman” Moorman (15th for $1,056.25), Adrian
“ADRI_ATM” Mateos (10th for $1,267.50), and XL Inferno champ “OPH1UCHUS” (3rd for
$9,295).
After 8 hours and 19 minutes, Brazil’s “andrebos” busted to Kuwait’s “sayqmyqname.” The
former earned $12,252.50 for finishing in second place, and the former captured a $16,350.75
first-place prize.
The last documented win for “sayqmyqname” on 888poker came in March of last year when he
took down the $3,000 Early Turbo Swordfish for $802.
“bujalabujala” Wins Lithuania’s First XL Blizzard Title
In the $44 buy-in Event #23: $20,000 Mini Quarterback, 680 players rebought 426 times to
create a $31,460 prize pool. That was reserved for the top 90 players, meaning 91st
-place finisher
“n0sferatv” had to settle for a seat into the “Bubble of Bubbles” tournament.
Among those to make a little cash were “FuzzyDonk” (64th for $94.38), Fabrizio “DrMiKee”
Gonzalez (51st for $110.11), “JustFoldEm.” (24th for $157.30), “Benettinho” (12th for $346.06),
and “Kevinmac1” (6th for $1,337.05).
After Malta’s “U.E.N.O.” fell in fifth place for $1,651.65, the final four players worked a deal
before battling it out for the title. In a twist of fate, neither of the two big stacks won it. Instead, it
was “bujalabujala” who emerged victorious to win $3,495.64 and Lithuania’s first XL Blizzard
title of the series.

A Super XL Champs Adds XL Blizzard Title to Résumé
The last tournament of the day, the $109 buy-in Event #24: $20,000 Late Quarterback, drew 223
runners who rebought 141 times. That created a $25,825 prize pool reserved for the top 36
players. As the 37th
-place finisher, John “Dealm8ker69” Cook locked up a seat in the “Bubble of
Bubbles” tournament.
Meanwhile, Super XL Series VII Main Event runner-up “carmen.1957” (30th for $193.68),
“Ao1ing” (27th for $219.51), “LeshiyAS” (15th for $348.63), Alexandru “alexos888” Baron (9th
for $490.67), and Fabrizio “DrMiKee” Gonzalez (3rd for $2,918.22).
After 6 hours and 18 minutes, Russia’s “petrofv5501” bested Switzerland’s “77DASH” in headsup
play to win $5,281.21. It marked the fifth XL Blizzard title won by a Russian player.
Back in January 2017, “petrofv5501” won Event #32: $50,000 Super XL 8-Max for $11,641.36
Here’s What is Coming Up on Friday
Are you ready to get knocked out? If so, Friday’s XL Blizzard schedule is for you. At 19:00,
both the $150 buy-in Event #25: $25,000 Knockout and $35 buy-in Mini Knockout will get
underway.

Mini Knockout

Day 9 of XL Blizzard, an 11-day series that runs through this Sunday, offered up a trio of events.
That means just seven events from the 34-tournament schedule remain including tomorrow’s
$160 buy-in Event #28: $50,000 6-Max and Sunday’s $1,050 buy-in, $1,000,000 GTD Main
Event.
For the XL Blizzard we offered new promotions such as awarding big cash prizes to anyone who

tournament (gain entry if/when you bubble a tournament), and the return of the Champion of

Super XL Champ “petrofv5501” books a win.

“LucySagara70” Knocks Out Competition for Netherlands’ 2nd Title
The highlight tournament of the day was the $150 buy-in Event #25: $25,000 Knockout, which
easily crushed its guarantee by attracting 245 players. That created a $35,045 total prize pool that
was spilt into $25K going to the regular pool and $10,045 into the bounty pool.
Canada’s “bluffing420s” bubbled in 37th place, meaning he earned a seat into the “Bubble of
Bubbles” tournament. He also claimed $123 in bounties. Among those to cash were “timtimmis”
(27th for $212.50 and $164 in bounties), XL Blizzard Event #8 champ “msksevart” (23rd for
$212.50 and $164 in bounties), “RakDoll” (11th for $400 and $164 in bounties), Fabrizio
“DrMiKee” Gonzalez (7th for $875and $492 in bounties), and “HotSauce86” (4th for $2,125 and
$369 in bounties).
After Sweden’s Jerry “Perrymejsen” Ödeen, who was April’s biggest Sunday online winner on
888poker, bowed out in third place for $2,825 and $369 in bounties, the title came down to the
UK’s “Patsharpe” and the Netherlands’ “LucySagara70.” After 9 hours and 42 minutes in the
tournament, the Dutchie claimed victory for $5,112.50 and $410 in bounties (Jans “Graftekkel”
Arends, who won the Opening Event for more than $17K, is the only other player from the
Netherlands to win a XL Blizzard title thus far). The Brit took home $3,750 and $348.50 in
bounties to help soothe the pain.
If you recall, “LucySagara70” finished fifth in the XL Eclipse Opening Event for $16,387.50
back in September.

“grigorq77” a Mini Bounty Hunter
The $35 buy-in Event #26: $10,000 Mini Knockout drew 731 entries, which more than doubled
the advertised guarantee by creating a $23,757.50 prize pool. Of that, $18,275 went into the
regular prize pool and $5,482.50 into the bounty prize pool.
The top 99 players got paid, which meant 100th
-place finisher “BernardoDG” left with $15 in
bounties and a seat into the “Bubble of Bubbles” tournament. Among those to cash were
“dappaHD” (42nd for $69.44 and $56.25 in bounties), “ginus09” (23rd for $91.37 and $22.50 in
bounties), XL Blizzard Event #20 champ “JohnJones34” (9th for $237.57 and $37.50 in
bounties), XL Eclipse “vampa500” (6th for $767.55 and $37.50 in bounties), and “SollenAA” (3rd
for $1,809.22 and $90 in bounties).
After 9 hours and 9 minutes, the final two players struck a deal. “SeauZezinho23” ended up
finishing in second place for $2,858.07 and $105 in bounties, while “grigorq77” claimed the title,
a $2,889.84 prize, and $97.50 in bounties.

Saturday’s Tournament Schedule
If 6-Max is your thing, you’re going to love what’s coming up on Saturday. At 19:00, both th
$160 buy-in Event #28: $50,000 6-Max and $30 buy-in Event #29: $15,000 Mini 6-Max will
kick off.
