Mac version is a different animal...

i think it would be very odd for ACR to be sending me malware versions of their software and i find this a very serious and concerning. what do you think would motivate them to be doing such a thing as this? do you know of them doing this to some players in the past?

i am running a 2009 mac pro with OS X 10.11.6

Many Mac owners complain as ACR does not seem to be very stable as you have found out. They say "under development" & "beta version".

No. I hope ACR would not include malware deliberately. They have hard coded hijacking adware & pop up adware into the client. None of us long timers are very impressed with their customer attitudes or responses at the top of management.

People like our Rep here try their very best but they are at the mercy of the same knuckle heads that we are. They pass our suggestions & complaints on to departments who record & forget them. Nature of this beast. For me their creds are in the freeroll offerings. No other USA facing site offers a freeroll menu that even comes close to ACR's. Even a multitude for their big million dollar events. The one & only reason I play at ACR.

Many others comment about being satisfied with the regular poker & deposit methods. Until they have a problem.

If you want to run rather smoothly, I suggest a machine running Windows 7, 8 or 10. Mobile version of ACR is very limited or so folks complain here.

ACR is a joke. The gameplay is predictable, the avatars are lame, 4 card straights and flushes constant, and just a list of other trash.

BOL/SBP network is solid. That is where the CC $200 games take place Wed/Fri. A few other quality freerolls show up there as well. My largest bankroll is at Sportsbet. Software is the same at BOL.

All of my cash play is at Sportsbet. I like it better than the rest. BOL has identical play. I would give them a positive yes.

I am a using a small portable process killer app just for the ACR hijacker program. When I am done I press a button & it dies. No hijacked browser popups of any kind. It dies quickly & quietly. If the free rolls ever disappear from ACR I will, too. They have never added any of my game suggestions. So I don't play. They continue to re-invent luck over skill.

If it is lottery poker or adware or hijack coding then they are all over it. I do not see this changing; ever. So I will never deposit here either. Play my SnGs & cash games at Ignition & SportsBet. RNGs there seem better balanced; real.

I don't care if ACR offers MTTs w/billion dollar GTDs, the UNLIMITED rebuys & late registration will always keep me away. Not into lotteries. I don't care if they strip 26 cards out of the deck or connect it to a slot machine. Old school poker player I guess.

Never been attracted to small shiny things blowing in the wind or wiggled on a string.

is there any good reason to require 150 in your MDS freebuys? you could allow 10 in it and it would not only make but hit beyond the guarantee. the 150 makes no sense especially combined with the 15 minute limit.

Yep, I registered for 2 that were cancelled for not having enough participants, but they seemed pretty full to me.

The ID does me no good because games are listed by their descriptions in the menus. You don't see the ID until you go to each individual game's lobby. I did try. No search option to find games by ID either. ACR does browser hijacks & freerolls best. Ignores actual poker features we can use. Suggestion list must be miles long by now.

Have not heard of anyone playing ACR poker ever using "tokens". We use tickets, dollars or play money converted to chips. Tokens sound like casino terms. If you are still using your Mac I am afraid only the Rep or another Mac user can answer these questions.

Frankly, I am as confused about what you describe as you are.

Sounds like something requiring tokens for entry & yours are invalid because they have expired. When we get tickets for a game they often have expiration dates. Use before that date or they wither & die of old age.

Token Expired

Usually when you get a token expired message it has to do with passwords, session id, usernames, etc.;

For example, when you request a reset of your password and it says you have x hours to reset it, when you don't reset it within the time frame, it will say "token expired" if you try to use the link later. It could also have to do with registration time-outs or automatic logins.

Sign out, sign back in. If that doesn't work. Clear cookies, press control and f5 at the same time and then restart your computer. If you must, you can force an unexpected reboot, however you may have a problem with invalid memory, and we don't want that.

So, if he can hang on for a few more thousand dollars & months then MAYBE a new client will be available? Or a few years or decades? Until then he is trapped with software that allows him to buy in but it does not allow him to play? Sounds like a solution to me.

Until then he is just stuck. All of our suggestions are on that same list. ACR will respect us in the morning & the check/software is in the mail. LoL...
