From April 24, last Tuesday when the DDoS attacks started there were 21 scheduled CC sponsored games calendared until yesterday Monday, April 30.
Most US players were automatically precluded from 10, additionally 8 were ACR / BCP. 3 games, 8.5% were available for me to play, and a 4th game I played was a PS home game for the League. I'm not complaining, I love the forum first and playing the games to me is an added bonus, to connect and compete with y’all on the felt for prizes.
Our hearts have to go out to CC as looking out for our best interest and effectuating a flowing, continuum of competitive games it itself is caught in the grasp of the tumultuous happenings at ACR. CC has been through it all in its evolution over 14 years, and my faith is in its leadership creating a path for its, our future. I appreciate the calm and focus of the CC Administration, trust they have our backs.
We speculate why the site is up partially while under attack. Best way I see it is if you can't plate a meal, you plate the crumbs and don't starve to death.
CC suffers, we suffer, sadly new members inclusive of “we” need to know the great history of CC because they’ve worked hard and some of them unfortunately are precluded from games just after freeroll club initiation. Members playing during the attacks caught up in individual frustrations, feel their pain.
Let’s be mindful of what benefits CC, benefits us. Good energy, calm and think, the answers are all there no matter what happens next.
