SO IT LOOKS like they're working hard to fix this!
Which makes sense since they're in this to make a profit.

Also explains why the ACR Rep hasn't responded, too busy.

seems the freebuys have been suspended until after the issue is resolved, I can't blame them for that. I cashed in 5 freebuys when they were canceled midway just by still having a few chips. and if everyone else got paid like I did, they had to be loosing $$$$

Just curious, what do you mean by cashed? Are you telling me that you and everyone else that where not busted out, received seat tickets for the MDS tourney?

Not working here. Lag is several minutes. Takes 5 minutes for log on screen to appear. After login screen closes and pop up appears. After another 2 minute lag I click close on Pop up and the entire software closes.

I tried to get in to some cash games and it says "I'm not allowed to sit at the table and to contact support" I really hope this isn't some USA Bullshit

So if a tourment is canceled and you get eliminated before it’s canceled why don’t you get your money back? And where does the money go if there’s no prize pool.

Hello, let me explain it:


If a tournament (in Running State) is canceled, all remaining players will receive the amount of 1 buy-in ( no fees, no re-entries or rebuys/add-ons). What happened with all the money of all busted players? - All that money, fees, rebuys- addons or re-entries included, are part of the prize pool that will be distributed on a percentage basis according to each players chip stack. Only to the remaining active players at the time of the tournament cancelation.

I do believe if you bust out, your money is still in the prize pool. That money, plus any rebuys/addons is distributed as a percentage of the chip stacks. Can think of it as chopping the pool in a fair manner, or calling the winner of a rained-out baseball game after five innings.

You must be trippin! You and half the other uneducated people spouting off about something you obviously have zero knowledge of. Why don't you go to a search engine and find out exactly what a DDos attack entails. Then come back and let me know if you feel the same way. These attacks are all too easy to execute and a nightmare to recover from.

It is very tiresome to hear just how many commentators about this situation have their heads in their butts and their brains in reverse. No shortage of opinions based on rumors started by other ignorant commentators. :bike:

Wow. Makes me understand where all the freeroll players come from that are willing to go all in with 72 off.

ACR Rep: I have played the $10 freebies and ticket freebies for an hour. They just suspended play. Thought I would show you where it stopped in case it helps IT. The lag time still seems to be part of the problem.

I wouldn't have any idea what tourney id or hand number it was, i dont track id numbers when i play... it was a day or so ago...at this point its less about the money and more about being treated like shit. I reg'd 3 10 dollar tourneys and a little way through it completely locked me out...i just dont get how im locked out yet other people were still able to play..makes no sense. I can imagine how many others it happened to as well. To just be told tough shit is just shocking to me. I didnt cause your servers to crash

I understand your frustration, I´m trying to help you. In able to get the Tournament ID or Hand ID go to Game Info > View Hand History.

Please be patient ,i've been playing there since the beginning . Any time i've had any problem with a tourny cancelling or these attacks , ACR has always made it right . Also never had any trouble cashing out . not that i've cashed out a lot lol.Don't let the past few days turn you off to the site. This has been the worst week by far but it's far from the norm.

Thanks a lot for your support, you are totally right we have been working very hard to stop this situation. Guys, I know how you have been feeling these days but also please understand us. We have been doing our 200% and more to stop this situation.

All the CC media stories propagate to the internet, and mainstream public. If there is a hint of who is doing the attack wouldn't it be smart to get it out there, maybe this makes them stop and hide. Even some fair, clever speculation. CC media is running what it has, would be great to have more and even exclusive coverage.

Far be it for me to understand the way the ACR / WPN business model in regards to transparency, handling of its affairs. But if this is an "underworld" problem, it needs a firm "underworld" solution, now.

Consider any previous issues I had with you squashed and best of luck getting this thing resolved and all of us back to the business of fun, poker and money. Thanks.

Something popular 3 years ago is something different today. In terms of network security, DDoS threats are growing each year and with more sophistication.

Over the last three years, ACR has encountered this threat once or twice a year. The last two major events happened in April 2017 and then prior to the 1 million & 1 event last fall. In each of these cases and every year prior they have mitigated the threat and have come out the stronger for it.

And Yes, Google can learn you a lesson if you do the proper research. Googling a quote from a 3-year old article just perpetuates old facts that no longer apply.

Enough though, let's not let the frustration we absorb of the loss of some of our games predicated on an ACR issue put us here on the endangered species list. Back forth and done.

And that we can both agree on!

Hopefully problems won't affect the Sunday Million today.

And hopefully you are not going to be one of those guys that are going to complain about it when it is cancelled.

I would not put it in now. But when they get things resolved, you can safely do it then. You are not throwing your money in a bin, ACR's track record over the years has demonstrated that.

Thanks for the observations, however, we are totally committed to honor all schedule events prize pools, whenever are canceled due to reasons out of control. We make sure to apply our tournament cancellation rules.

No worries. Yeah, it is frustrating to be going thru this. Even BOL had their run of bad luck just prior to this. Both have pretty much took away a lot of play from the US -- addicted want their fix now damnit!

Makes this next part not so far fetched.....

I have a suggestion for an ACR Bounty Tournament. CEO takes off his tie, puts on his CC hoodie , gets the craziest ticos together with an ops point man, and at least 1 federale with diplomatic immunity and with a $250k budget, charted jet, and start the bounty tournament to end the attacks the non tech way. Or use it as an outline for a screenplay, as it couldn't be worse than "Molly's Game".

I think that ACR is not telling us the truth, I think they have much more serious problems

Let's break that down. If a business talks too much it might expose a plan, vulnerability, trade secret, active investigation. Which makes lying by omission ok, fair, in this case if that would be the hypothetical scenario. So far they said they're under DDOS attack, it appears to be true, unless it can be dis-proven.

What's your theory or do we really want to hear?
