I love playing on ACR. It is the only site where I've been able to build up a decent bankroll with no deposit thanks to their large offering of freerolls (which I hope will return when the site is stable). I think it has the potential to be a great site, and I will continue to play there, but it has always been plagued by this kind of incompetence on the technical side. I also applaud ACR Rep and everyone in Customer Service for doing their best under difficult circumstances. That being said, I too can't help but wonder what's going on behind the scenes and who's overseeing the development and implementation of this software. The whole thing just smacks of lack of planning and care. Maybe this isn't a fair comparison, but just think, can you imagine these sorts of prolonged technical issues, compromised security (bots, collusion, multiple accounts etc.), DDoS attacks, etc. happening with any other poker site, website, or online platform? Would Facebook or Amazon or pokerstars ever allow this to happen? Even the smaller sites like BOL and ignition have launched new software without major issues. I know ACR isn't the biggest or wealthiest site, but they still rake in plenty of money and should have been able to hire skilled people to do this right. I mean, they have the funds for a $5M GTD which they're allowing us to qualify for by playing freeroll steps (i.e. not many people actually buying in), so the issue can't be money. US players rationalize it and justify it and make excuses because we have so few choices, but we have to take this for what it is: a live beta test. Not sure what the plan or strategy was here, but no other reason to launch software that clearly wasn't ready when the old software was still adequate (even with all the existing issues).
