Thanks for shifting the issues to this thread dakota xx.
Let's try and see what's going on instead of belly-aching about the problems...
I use Win 8.1 pro and Win 7 pro and could not access the site with the regular software. I tried with instant client on Chrome on both operating systems and no go again. I swapped to Win 10 and the regular software didn't work but the instant client worked...(I managed to bust out in one hand in the level up tourney).
I kept my task manager running during all instances to see what was taking place to isolate the programs involved with this site and saw what I expected. Linux has far more tools to assess what is going on (Server ID, locale ping response time... etc...) but I have no intention of using Linux for gaming....other than Steam
Could some people look into their machines and see what, if anything, is not working or at least identify the servers that are establishing contact? Above all, don't state anything compromising. This is a perfect time for hackers to obtain access to accounts with everyone attempting multiple log ins.
I understand that the problem is on the server side and with another operating system on a different (accelerated hardware) system and by using some decent network tools you can pretty much map out 888's entire server side presence. From that point you can then seek out a connection rather than doing it randomly. I just find it more practical to address an issue and come to a consensus on how to deal with it for everyone's benefit rather than bemoaning the problems encountered.
I played on other sites rather than wasting my time.
I am german, excuse my bad english. I am really nerved about 888poker in moment. Ok it isnt big money, but i am in there with bankroll 66,79 $ and it is impossible to engage the lobby. Allways conection errors. But my internet is ok anywhere elsewhere. Next i will loss 4 tickets. Damm it .... i am nerved.i just tried to register in the 1000$ level 30 , in 888poker . But there is a probleme , registration time has been started for 12 min now , but no one is registered and when I try to register , the lobby of the tournament doesn’t show the button to register . Anyone facing the same problem ??
The problem wasn’t in poker software,it was an attack, all users couldn’t connect to their accounts .I use windows 10re-install pokersoftware...what windows you use ???
Yes , they fix it but the problem happens again . 888 must limit thoses kind of thingsThis problem is day two,I noticed on 888 it is often found...
Yes , everything is back to normal the only problem is that this may happen again .I never had problems with 888 until yesterday's freeroll. The only small problem is that when I open the user settings, the site closes. Yesterday I could not go to the site. All the time threw out the window - there is no connection, check your internet.Today at lunch I tried and went.
Good for you. Thanks for your answerSometimes I also have this problem.
But yesterday, during the game there were no problems.
That s good . If the problem is from them , they give the money backI played last time. Bai Inn $ 12.
To me this money was returned to the account.
But you need to contact customer support.
Automatically they do not return.
Yes everyone who was in the problem receive an email saying « sorry » , but that s not enough, it d a big company, such things shouldn’t happen. ( but at least u won t lose ur money , if u lost something during the attacks contact them , they ll refundI get it that they are in constant ddos attack. But, for how long? For three days in a row I'm having trouble playing or entering 888 Lobby. Even if I do get in, I will be disconnected for a mysterious reason.
So, Can someone explain? Why they can't solve the issue and move on. Is anyone else here having trouble accessing this poker network?
888Poker is sure in some deep trouble they don't want us to know about?
Anyway, This is just what I think, in reality I don't actually have any idea what is going on. They won't say anything. They just tweeted out about their server disturbance and apologised nothing more from them officially come yet.
What do you guys thing actually going on?
Yes , it s fixed now5 days in a row and I'm still having connection issues.
I can't even login today.
That happens sometimes in 888 . Good luck in tables . Everything is fine nowI deposit money and site stop to work....almost every day is same
Yes , many user are facing the problol today i cant login in 888 they say some tehnical problems...
Yes it s good nowThe 888 poker lobby has just started operating . Couldn't come in for two days .
Yeah , that might happen but would it be a solution to stop itAll the sites seem to be having trouble off and on the last couple of months.
I wonder if 888 will compensate like PokerStars did.
Same forme , now everything goodi
The site acted strange for the past week , yesterday i couldnt log into it no matter what from phone or pc...
thank you for the answer, very good , the only good thing is that if someone use the money during the attacks , all they have to is to contact support to get refundsThanks for shifting the issues to this thread dakota xx.

Yes it s a very bad thing to happen , but it s good for nowSo this continues.. I have been trying to grind out my bonuses and have not got anything accomplished except a few short sessions of SNAP on the web-app since its impossible to multitable. Its strange tho, because sometimes it will work on one device then not on the other and vice versa, but the majority of the time it doesn't work on any of my devices.
I really hope they get this sorted out soon. I feel bad for anyone who has money in a tourney or something to get disconnected. 888 is my favorite site, I really hope the find a way to stop the attacks on the servers.
Bad thing . I think things are back to normal now and I guess that they did suffer from the attack’sI was able to connect no problem but when I try to register an error occurs. They must be losing money, the $200 guaranteed $0.50 buy in had 27 players.
It is really to see, that a " big" site like 888 takes longer to defend against DDoS than ACR.
Hope they will be back and working fine soon.
888, we miss you!!!
The sites should work together to find out, who sends these Attacks and send them to jail forever.
