lost AK V 54 for a 9.1k pot just as ate reg was closing

one of these days

It's funny how bad they play but often get lucky.

I thought about giving it a try to improve my stack before the Christmas days start and I went it at the end of late reg and jammed 44 for 16 BBs to either double up or go home.

Someone called with his 14 BBs and showed A2o. Loving it since instead of an equity close to 50, I had like 70. 🤓

Flop even gave me a set. 🤩

But that luckbox rivered a straight. 🤣

Climbed up to 6 BBs again (Kjo and Asks) but then the streak ended.

GL all playing today.

i received 2 Kings in yesterdays game and raised for half of my stack...everybody folds but the big blind, who puts me allin and shows his aces...with all the donkeys around, i had to call..but this is just.. still wondering if it is possible to find a fold there

Depends on the size of your stacks but I'm always going all-in with AA and KK there. Depending on villain also JJ+, AK.

So often they wake up with junk.

Some jam any Ace independent of the kicker.🤣

I'll keep playing to build a good stack for day 2 but when I'm down to not many chances left I'll play just to make it in even if short.

In GG you can check the lobby. There it says the average duration of each regular game.

Yes, there is such feature for all tournaments, but not for these freerolls.

well we both had a healthy stack..me 20k chips and him 22k..all the others that folded had smaller stacks

If u raise half of ur "healthy" stack pre and someone shoves on u its never a fold there with kk ever. Especially in such donkey fields.

My luck in this tournament is gods, yesterday I lost with AA, I raised on the button and the bb thought I was stealing and went all-in with a pair of 22 with 54bb, and I called with 36bb behind and guess what it beat the 2 of the villain on the river.😝

Today I was with JJ in the bb with 26bb and villain on the button raised, I went all-in, villain called with AKof and guess what, he hit two A on the flop, my luck is incredible.😁🤣

I forget how many attempts it took, but 2 days ago I finally made the 5% cut. Was 393 players out of 7800+, dropped into 6-700th place then one good hand & was comfortably inside. Looks like it is well calculated, they run Day 1 all the way to 4 hours before the big one Day 2, but we all have a guarantee just for making it, which is nice….$27 and falling(I assume) is OK IMO

Oh my it’s not looking good for New Year’s Day! I scrolled all the way down and I am at only 8.6BB, or 8700th out of the 11k so far….16K make it. But hey like I said the mincash is nice….Lets all just have fun guys and maybe make a few pay jumps !
