Would you continue to play poker if you found out that 100% of online poker is fake?

Well. I would probably keep playing. It's just the possibility that you can win in a rigged game that makes it much more exciting.

online poker is teeming with horror stories about fraud. Perhaps the most striking of them is the story of closed cards, which were visible to fraudsters thanks to special software. Moreover, the latter were not ordinary players, but the managers of the online poker room UltimateBet. It cannot be ruled out that similar poker software exists today, which allows you to view players' pocket cards.

Listen, either provide real evidence or stop messing around.
Yes, there were isolated cases when the administration cheated for several million and as a result, poker rooms that brought in 400-500 million in income went bankrupt. I think this served as a good lesson for the remaining rooms. Secondly, if I doubt any of the rooms, I just don't play there. GG meanly declared war on regulars from the funds (I once played from the fund, they really train well there) but this is not a scam, pokerstars essentially removed all rakeback and all sorts of challenges, but this is not a scam. 888 is essentially a casino, and poker is an addition to it... but this is not a scam. Man, you are already shouting about fraud in the third topic, but not a single factual post from you has followed

I haven't made a single deposit for 2 and a half years. I withdraw a little but regularly. Last year I had a topic here in the "challenges" thread, you can find "Poker is life". Although 5 years ago I treated the game as irresponsibly as you do now. And I was also looking for a conspiracy. But then I decided for myself that either I take my game seriously or I don't waste time on it, and everything changed. The whole conspiracy is in our heads. Think about it

P.S. Don't look for negativity in my words... it's just very annoying when a player, instead of working with his hand database and figuring out where and when he played incorrectly and how he should have played better, without filling his hands in GTO Wizard (where AI will give you the optimal line in similar spots), starts looking for a problem outside of himself

In this title, I'm just trying to talk about assumptions without offending anyone, pretend you're a film director for a while while you read this

If I were a film director, I would make a film called "Sharpers" (by the way, if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it. You could say it's almost a documentary). But my ending wouldn't be happy, a film from the genre of "how not to do it":D

PS The hero of the film almost never makes mistakes during the game, BUT throughout the film he makes the most important mistake that many of us make to this day: Playing beyond your bankroll

**** it, I've done a lot of things in life and everything is fraudulent and unfair.
Becoming a monk is the best option.

Soon none of us will be here anymore and the fraud will continue. Like ice, one cheater is taken out of business and 10 more appear. Positions in all types of work are given to people not on merit, but on connivance or ulterior motives.

**** everyone, some are fools, some are conniving, some are desperate, and some are allies. I'm not talking about poker.

No, I mostly pay poker for fun and to earn some extra money.

If it was certainly and always manipulated, it would take both away, so no.

Would you continue to see your friends and family, if you found out, that each and every one of them were a psycopatic killer? The obvious answer is no. But the question is meaningless, because its almost impossible, that that would ever happen.

but I put it as an assumption
we too can dream for once
and so I'm looking for answers please!
(I don't like your comparison-a psycopatic killer)

Been playing and a winning player for 20+ years. Long as a keep being a winning player why would I care if it's fake? Answer I don't and wouldn't care.

With that said I doubt online poker is fake, a scam and rigged. Why do I believe that? Well I'm just an avg joe dummy who hasn't studied to progress my game in 15+ years and yet I'm still a winning player at the stakes the majority of us play micro/low stakes. If poker was fake, a scam and rigged there's exactly ZERO chance I'd still be a winning player 20+ years later.

For me the real question is would I still play if I was a losing player? Idk honestly. Likely I would because I enjoy poker and consider it a hobby. Most people pay good money to do their hobby(s). Adult hobbies can be expensive. For example I've spent almost 15k on sim-racing over the years. Spent plenty of money on photography over the years(buying one lens can easily cost me 1k+. Spent plenty of money playing rec/gentleman's league hockey for years.

Cheers!!!
