What do you do while playing online poker?

Depends how much money is on the line and up for grabs.
For low stake tourney's I usually have a couple of games on while doing some actual work on another computer. Once I have doubled up enough times to make it into the cash (or busted out) I then sit out and sometimes jump on a good hand.:bike:

Usually reading posts on CC , or listen to some old music tracks that I like , or watch youtube videos . I might also watch some twitch streams if music or youtube don't satisfy me . If I am deep on a tournament , I will stop all other activities and focus only on the table that interests me ofcourse .

sometimes I play music other times I play poker in silence. I usually have multiple games running at the same time. So it moves too fast for me to be able to watch videos or read. Mainly I’m just talking myself out loud discussing plays at the table, asking myself if I should’ve folded here or what the other players range Is overall or in this specific situation. I believe it helps me improve when I talk to myself since it helps me catch mistakes that I made previously, improves what I put people on for a guess, etc. .., and sometimes I eat snack lol

Most of these people are leaving out the fact they are so absorbed and never bored because they are using data mining programs, /flop analyzers ,push/fold programs and some do twitch /YouTube streams while playing.

When you are playing more than 1 table at a time u wouldn't have time to get bored .

But let's be real here . They are likely using their HUDs to find out how many times you fold against a 3x raise on 4th Street. Or how many times you fold to a Cbet ECT.

Alot of these answers prob aren't meant to mislead you but trust me if you have time to get bored while playing online, then you are prob not gonna be a winning player.

If anyone cannot tell, I despise HUDs and any and all data mining programs used to pick apart betting patterns. They are an advantage to the user that gives you an edge before the first card is Dealt.
No they won't be banned completely but the amount of data they track goes above and beyond what a live player knows about their opponents and that needs to be addressed.

I enjoy playing computer games, while I'm playing poker. This is helpful when I'm in a tournament, because I'll focus just as much on the game. When there's a critical moment in the online poker game, I'll give it my full attention. This is also helpful because I'll play better hands and fold easier.

What do you do, when playing online poker?

When I do poker, I usually do other sorts of "gambling". Prior to the start of the tournament I place some sports bets, and like follow my bets on my other screen. Usually I play like more/less goals, more/less corners. But that's pretty much it. I even try to avoid contact even with my girlfriend, people are saying and I totally agree, distractions can kill the game. If I'm fully focused I know the exact moment, when I am able to do a huge bluff, when I can pull it through.

What do you do, when playing online poker?

I smoke so I smoke a lot and keep a drink close by. I go through recent hand history of current game but mainly concentrate on gameplay, I don't like to miss anything.
I recommend if you are getting bored often, upping your stakes, or maybe a change in poker game to Draw or Omaha. Getting bored can really alter some of your decisions.
I suppose playing a small sng the moments you are bored couĺd help.

I am 100% sure that just practice can make you play better. Of course reading books about poker will make the process of learning much faster and easier, but practice is on first place. When I started to play poker pulsa online my skill really increased. Because I just have started to play more often and understood how do people act in different situations.

most of the time i watch TV. but nowadays with my 2 year old daughter im kind of running around. its funny sometimes i fold pockets AA because my time ran out and when i get in front of the computer there they are. beautiful AA. and they are folded LOL

I have poor discipline playing online poker

I consider myself to be a poker novice despite the fact that I've been playing for years. I have reached a point in my poker life where I want to take my skills to the next level. Streaming, reading, and online research have all been semi effective tools for me to improve my poker game. I'm more of a hands on learner when it comes to learning new subjects. As a solution, I've turned to online poker as the most practical/affordable option for me to experience as much game time as possible. However, when I play online poker for micro stakes or for freerolls I'll find myself making reckless calls that are mostly chance driven. I want to avoid reinforcing bad poker habits that will eventually come back to haunt me or make me the perfect prey for the more skilled poker players at the table. How did some of you make it over the hump of weak poker discipline?
