What do you do while playing poker?

In a given 55 minute block I will concentrate on the game & other players for maybe 10 minutes. Otherwise I will open tab to fold/call/raise and if fold, watch TV shows (Law & Order, Seinfeld, Shark Tank) or sports (MLB is excellent) and meanwhile do word or number puzzles in another tab, plus engage in a few of my favorite online forums.

Admittedly this behavior does not optimize my ROI, but it does make the grind more tolerable.

While playing, I can listen to the news, the radio, or my favourite YouTube music channels. Sometimes I listen to my girlfriend, sometimes I pretend to listen to her

Sometimes im concetrated that i feel i just can't lose hand and know when to fold when to check raise, but sometime im just out of poker while im playing, have to work on that to be concentrated all the times!

reading, watching, listening, I've done everything while playing poker... the only time poker has my full attention, even if it's just one table, is when it's the final part of a big tournament

I usually play 2-4 tables at a time, so I don't have time to watch anything, but I can listen to music. Depending on my mood, I either listen to music or the news or just play in complete silence.

A lot depends on the seriousness of the tournament. If I'm playing a 2000 players satellite with a prize zone of 10 tickets, then I can do other things. Most of the time I do either read the news or watch a basketball or baseball game. I also almost always read our forum when I play poker.
