Its crazy, how upset some people can get about losing a few dollars. I have pointed that out multible times in microstakes tournaments. Like "hey dude, we are playing for $3.3 here, so calm yourself down".
Somehow doing that always manages to make it worse. It's like waving red at a bull or telling the wife to "calm down and relax" haha.

Cheers!!!

We all know that the transgressions of some players with cursing, harsh insults, and racism in online poker have become easy for this type of player.
Has this happened to you before?
Did you exchange insults, or did you just watch or inform the administration?
In general, if any unethical or racist violations occur against any player, the administration must be notified, and the poker room administration is obligated and responsible to take the necessary measures against the erring player.
I am generally not inclined to engage in discussion with idiots. But of course, such cases annoy me and I believe that such behaviour deserves appropriate punishment. Players who behave like this are in 90% of cases just losers who have no skills, no experience and no prospects.

Tense tables are fkin awesome
This 140 lb guy sat down and said he hates fags and would whoop a fagets ass
The 350lb gym linebacker sitting to his right leaned at him and said "I'm a fkin fagget you gonna kick my ass?"

The next hour was so quite no one even shuffled their chips

We all just smiled from ear to ear
The general insulter was the weakest poker player youv'e ever seen play after that in your life
The Gym guy brought his280lb bf next week and they were the nicest and sweetest people ever

My local poker bar league called me cupcake
I liked It/started it because I would play 23 suited
But for some reason people would imply mean things for no reason other than a haha
I was 17 and couldn't even drink at the bar but they served food, so I could stay all night until the kitchen closes by law and play allin poker league

Taught me that people choose who they are nice to and who they are not
Depending on if they think, they can beat them up/pushem around

Showed up to annual invitational of 800+ people
Told them my rank #2
They laughed and started at the bottom of the list looking for my name
took 5+ minutes
Being a teenager playing adults has taught me to only play poker in safe regulated environments
Don't try to play the insult funny game back against groups or individuals targeting you
because it only gets worse. add liquor and orlando...

But I showed up everyday anyways, even if they all were making fun of me as a group and could kick my ass outside anytime.
I made sure to whoop that ass on the table ,stay safe and observant of my surroundings.

Those gay guys were so cool
They came back 3 times a week and all day Sundays
The meanest people stopped showing up xD

fyi I have been punched while sitting at the poker table in bars and in jail
for doing nothing but playing cards
The whole table did nothing but watch because they somewhat sicked him on me
I get up and enter the concrete steel cage start swinging on him till he ran back to the corner of the cell and covered up
Locked him inside his cell on my way out
Then I rush back down to my chips and cards to finish the hand for a fat pot
Realised I had everyones money and they were hopin I lose so they get their losses back
exclaiming
I don't even want this shit and I threw the money in the middle of the table to remove any targets or animosity (10$-15$ on the whole table)
I should have kept 1$
Because I forgot I owed the haitian trained mma fighter guy going for life in prison 1 dollar that night.
90 people plus the officers lined up to watch me get my ass whooped
Though I displayed confidence that would win, i was way outa my league being 18 and 150 lbs oweing 1$ to a monster
He even knew it and said come on , just get this over with.
well I won1 outa 2 that day
Poker is soo much fkin fun aint it

It's not very common, but if I've been insulted, most of them are Brazilian players.
I'm still playing, I don't trade or report

and no the guards weren't stepping in
Because I didn't back down or walk away
I walked to fight him in his cell
took me 3 minutes to get my balls past the line but allowed the 90 inmates and officers to reposition for better viewing angles
It was an awful entire experience for me

That’s not insult
That is appreciation and pay respect to your craft at the table at the time.

I don't think you have "the monkey tilt"-personality. Fortunately.

Many, Americans especially, take even Play Money pretty seriously on pokerstars and Replay - probably because it's the only choice some of them have to play odd mixed games (or in some States poker at all).

It has happened several times that people are called out for playing like idiots or morons because they don't make the correct decisions - in not a Micro Stakes Game, not a Freeroll but a PLAY MONEY Game.

I can tilt and throw a horseshow or snowball if someone gets lucky at any stakes - but usually have the chat off, both for my own concentration and to not write something stupid when upset.

But some people can't tolerate losses at anything without going totally crazy. They probably throw the board out the window if they lose at Monopoly.

On the other hand, some people really deserve some disciplinary actions (strange than not more terrible things happen in higher stakes):

I turned of chat, sound and other interactions with other poker players at the online poker tables many years ago for the reason that It stole my attention from my focus on bringing my a game to the poker table. At the online pokertables I have seen exchanged insults, missiles, rutten tomatoes, piss, shit, womit and worse, most players that chatted were polite and friendly, so am I.

Phil Hellmuth constantly swears when he is beaten stupidly... it's part of the game... why then did the developers give the ability to throw fish, a donkey or a tomato? Of course you should strive to be restrained, but it should not be mandatory

It happened about 2 years ago on PokerStars, when a player couldn’t beat me, he lost chips and started insulting me, but I ignored it and pretended I didn’t see.
Only on PokerStars though not usually directed at me. Usually when someone loses a big pot to an even bigger underdog. No surprises there.
The same thing happened to me on Pokerstars, too. He was an Algerian person full of hatred and racism, and the reason was that I lured him with submarine skill, and I won and took all his chips skillfully.
In general, most of the verbal arguments or insults that I have seen since I started playing online poker I saw on Pokerstars, and most of the hostile players were Russians at that time.

Yes, many times. After a few years playing I decided to block the chat, because there’s no reason to keep the chat open unless you are playing a friendly game.

I faced this problem a couple of times but most poker sites do not give the chance to report such behavior unfortunately

Has this happened to me online or in a casino or home game? Yes to all of them. Have I ever exchanged insults back or informed administration no I haven't. The reason is I'm a very mellow person who doesn't give a Dang what they think or say.
Now here's the thing, does it affect my game when somebody does this to me or someone else? The answer is yes but it's not what you may think. I don't get upset or go on tilt as I said I don't care The thing is I'm usually concentrating on my game and what all players are doing. When somebody does something that is rude or insulting it puts them on my radar. I am more likely to look up the hand that these players played to have a better understanding of why they're going off on somebody. I'm also more likely to keep a closer eye on their play. Adding more notes to them then possibly anybody else at the table. So to be honest they don't hurt me as much as they hurt themselves by getting on my radar am I being better prepared to play them faster then they would like.
Just last night I had a player make a comment about my play. It wasn't anything bad or insulting but I looked back on several hands he played and added some notes on the type of player he is. Had he not made that comment I probably wouldn't have wrote any note on him or looked deeper into his play. Next time we meet I'll will be more prepared to play him than he wants.

I've been insulted several times at tables but I don't care and I let it go and generally those who insult me I always end up beating them so I don't even worry about what people will talk about me, I'm winning the money and that's what matters.
