Do you use the chat in online poker?

Yes, when a poker room provides such a technical opportunity, I actively use chat. More often, of course, a lot depends on my mood, and also on the gadget from which I play poker. But when I play from my notebook, I'm always friendly to everyone.

My preference is to read other players chat and not contribute to the conversation.

I had too many occasions when I am rolling about in laughter when another player is trying to get me angry and tilted.

1. Basically NOT, because I'm usually playing on tablet and there is very short time for type message while watching to board situation.
2. But time to time YES, when using PC for game.

I never use chat. Maybe once every three months I can write something to someone, but honestly, only when I have an urgent need. I think it's not very good to be distracted by conversations during the game.

888 does not allow chat in my country, and ACR no longer seems to have a chat function so not so much.

I read chat almost always -- it is INFORMATION, which occasionally proves useful.

I don't chat very much. Now & again I will, but mostly to remain mysteriously friendly. Never to chastise a lucky player's decision to call (looking a gift horse in the eye, right) or correct a flawed decision -- if I'm right, why help someone I'm gambling with perform better? And if I'm wrong, why look silly?

I'm not sure why chat even exists in poker clients. It's rarely used. The only place I've seen it used much is in the Cardschat Team League games.

I used to like to chat but lately have pretty much given up on it (other than League).
