I trust that I have been playing online poker for over 10 years, there are losses with a good hand, and there are winnings, each time in a different way. but one cannot say that online poker is bad

There's no reason to think that way, people are making money out of it

Pokerstars strikes again 😀

Having the worst run of poker these last few weeks, just went out in the cardschat freeroll , i have KQ four way to the flop no raises pre flop , flop comes 9 10 J 😁 first two players check ,next guy all in, i snap call thinking great a double up ,he turns over pocket 10's turn comes 6 river 6 full house for him 🙉 i dont think poker is rigged but i can understand why some do..

I just think to myself why am I not getting that river and always the other player. But then why the other player? Why is he special. He is not. Its different players. Its just their luck at that time. Mine do come eventually when its my turn according to hit it. So its fair according to me. Positive players make their own luck. And I do think the algo favours the positive players.

With the amount of collusion and bots it seems as though these days the rec player has little to no chance of long term gain.
With that said, I do still play....;)

I think cash tables are a better option i play a bit of 2c/5c games dont get hardly any bad beats maybe just lose to a better hand or get out played which is what proper poker should be, the freerolls and sit and go's have turned into a all-in fest with rag aces and king/jack etc

Sometimes I am wondering if there is a mechanism that controls the cards when I am playing online. The bad luck seems that can not have a logical explanation. Those who have played in real tables have also lived the same experience, it is a part of poker. I have won money and tournaments while I am playing online so I trust them. However I do not trust other online games such as roulette ,slot machines, blackjack etc

Fake News
Fake Polls
Fake Elections
Fake Stock Market
Fake Global Warming
Fake Virus
Fake Government

Im quiet new in the online poker game and I would say I trust pokerstars as they are like the biggest one and I feel like having a good overview over all. I also have poker 888 at the moment, but I just play free games on there as it’s so overloaded and I don’t like the view on the table. Just to much beside why I don’t trust them.

I think the bigger, well-known pages are reliable, what you say about AA or a low hand, it's totally standard. AAs don't assure you that you will always win and that is the beauty of poker. Pass online and pass live, playing more hands online may make you believe that it happens more times, but it is a mathematical question, more hands more chances of it happening.

I trust absolutely. although there are sometimes fleeting thoughts, it is from annoyance that something went wrong, nothing more. then calmed down, exhaled and again into battle:smile:

I do trust online poker but if you lose enough it will make you question almost anything.

Yes, I agree if you lose, you immediately have doubts about the belief in online poker, and I had the same!

I believe that you have a bit of everything. It depends on where you are playing but there are some trustful sites to play.
And we have to remember, it’s poker!

I believe and really hope that such bots do not exist on the site where I play, although I sometimes lose in incredibly unlucky situations, but I hope that these are just failures, and not computer shenanigans from the site.

Rigged?

I don't think there are BOTs being used at the level I play. Micro MTT, however, I am convinced that sites like poker stars use the information they have on players to create outcomes which will inevitably lead to players making deposits hence they keep their cash flow growing which is the required outcome for corporations..:):):)
