Definitely try to keep you buy ins at less than $1. And try not to rebuy into tourneys. I feel like once you start rebuying it can take your bankroll down quick. Once you are knocked out buying back in could be problematic. Especially if you feel like you may be on tilt.

I'd say the 50 cent on demand tourneys could be your best bet imo. You can double your bankroll by binking one. And they're running all day.

the most important thing is to play fewer hands, the task is to win chips, not the distribution. Too many weak hands are played in freerolls, for money this is not so

If you want to play a cash game, I think you should start with the smallest lemmings, because cash games are very different from freerolls.
Then you can decide for yourself what you like best and where to play

Freerolls

How long should you play freerolls until you know that you can play with real money.

10 bucks is not a bankroll and if you re daydreaming about making thousands of dollars out of your 10 bucks wake up and be realistic because if you wasted 2 months playing freerolls and made 10$ you re wasting a lot of time buddy and you may think that time is valuable.. it is way more valuable than you can imagine, my advice.. stop wasting it.

Come on guys the three most important things in poker is:
1 - Bankroll Management
A begginer player should only play with money he can spend and won't be affected financial and psichologically affected if he loses all this money. You should have at least 50 Buy in to enter a tournament or 100/150 to play cash. Deposit your money and divide it by the days you gonna play in 1 month, making daily goals. RESPECT THEM IS TOUGH but is extremly worth in the long term.

2 - Reviewing Hands

Losing or winning you should always LEARN from the past. That is LIFE! When you learn something from your mistakes you didn't lose anything, instead you did the oposite. Of course you should respect the number 1: Manage your bankroll

3 - Keep Studying
Watch some videos, read some books and always see forums like this one. Every game you play you will face opportunities that probably someone already did, so learn from this guys too!

Good Luck!

Obs.: Try the Sit & Go $0.25 45 Players Regular! And never give up chasing your dreams!

Continue as you can write $ 10 in tournaments, go up to $ 100 and then check yourself for cash.

try playing the 0.25 buy-ins
or the 0.30 or lower sats when they are running if you want to win an entry to a tournament but i would just start with the 0.25 buy-ins

micro millions is coming so maybe you can grind it up and try those small buy-in MTTS if your bankroll is a little bigger :)

gl in your grind!

Good luck.

wining $10 in 2 months, is winning on average 16 cents a day. I would be playing some 1c/2c cash games when there are no freerolls available.

I strongly advise against wasting time on little freerolls. Just make a min deposit. To build from your min deposit I'd play sngs, maybe taking shots at cash tables after profiting sngs

I don't even want to know how many hours i pissed away playing freerolls back in the day

edit: to be clear, I'm not against playing them for fun or as possible bankroll boosts. Boost being the key word...ie you already have a roll.

Play satellites for 0.05-0.08. You can also play tournaments for 0.10 cents. 100 tournaments.

My friend is not serious over at least $ 100 for a bankroll, but $ 10 for playing tournaments at 0.25 cents.

$10 isn't really a good enough bankroll to start playing for cash.... even the 25c sngs can drain and demoralize you really quickly.

i would suggest waiting til you have $20...then try the micro cash games...9 handed...not 6 handed. Allow a playing budget of $5. If your roll gets down to $15..stop...and build back up to $25 with the freerolls before you start playing for cash again.
