ok, welcome

Sorry I used a Spanish to English translator ... but it did not translate well on how to play QQ situation ... it was a disaster but I guess they understood me ... the last part where I explain that I am recreational And I don't know if when I play the QQ I play them right or wrong ...

ok my friend, here we are to learn and communicate with each other, I believe that most use a translator, as there are several nationalities, the important thing is to interact and learn with friends

I play QQ cautiously, I just lost an All-in with AA to QQ. So they do play pretty well if played right.

it's true, I admire anyone who has the courage and knowledge to manage instead of all in

complicated

It depends completely on position! And how many are in the pot when the decision is made.
Mostly I play it carefully. QQ is a good start....but it's winning percentage is not as good as other hands

it's true, very complicated, many possibilities, even though they are great cards

I agree with your opinion

I play QQ the same way i play any other pocket pair like it's a winner till it's not, any pocket pair can win at anytime or lose the same just my opinion

The Riff_Raff

I really liked your opinion, because many criticize me for valuing many cards and hands that are considered bad, but the situation, position and player are very different, so I am very criticized, but I think the same so you

Like AA. But be careful if an A or K comes on the board.

with QQ I call or place a 2.5X bet on the preflop. after the flop and play according to my reading of the villains and especially my position at the table!

right

It depends a lot on your position, but I always play the QQ always betting hard so that no donk gets in the hand to do nonsense.

eliminate players with low cards is better, to not to have problems on the flop

i gree

I have just flat called at times with QQ and won some big pots when the set comes or all under cards on board but like most others are saying it depends on position stack sizes and my opponents in the hand but generally i see them as any other pocket pair you hate to see any over cards to you're pair on board

I fully agree, just like many people criticize me for going out of position for me, but I have already won several in unfavorable positions so I agree with you going from player to player

great words

QQ is a great hand to play in a tournament, if you can narrow the number of opponents you have in the hand.

You also need to take a look at your position at the table, and also the "buy-in" level. The lower the "buy-in", the more challenges you are going to get.

If you're in "late position" pre flop, it is much easier to decide what to do. (This actually can apply to most hands.) You'll know the max number of players that are staying in, and you can decide whether or not to try and scare some of them out, or go with it.

great words, summed up everything you really should do, I always prefer to go all in or very aggressive to decrease the maximum number of pre-flop players, I feel more comfortable playing like this

It depends for me , I have lost many times with the Queens to AK , KK , AA , even KQ or other stranger hand , I feel insecure to reshove or shove for many blinds with them , have to learn to play them better :)

ok

Love those Lady Queens but I typically just call first and then narrow it down if the Ace or some type of Draw comes out on the Flop.

the problem of just calling, is that people with low pairs enter the game, not that it's bad, but I try to at least raise pre-flop, to get low cards out of the play, to narrow down as chances

QQ is a great hand for building larger pots and it’s very easy to get away from post flop.

true, every day i like to play with them more, I like to play aggressively, it’s easier with them, lol

i raise too

:cool:Strong raise before the flop, QQ I don't like to bet it all before the flop, I have to play it in a controlled way, and see the flop if it comes out low flop I bet strong or pot, it depends on the villains ...

I also raise or go all-in, just pass I do not pass not at all
, after I lost to a 333 for not having raised, I don’t make the same mistake anymore, lol

How to play QQ = bronze pocket, ALL IN! , smaller the table is, the bigger chance there is that QQ will win.

congratulations

A few years ago at a live tournament in Las Vegas, down to the last eight players, I was dealt QQ, I raised preflop and was reraised all in by the chip leader. I think I was fifth in chips. If I was last in chips I would have instacalled.
Thinking about all the options and what the other player would have pushed with, I folded QQ face up. He took the pot and showed his hand Ace King, which was one of the hands I had put him on.
I didnt go on to win the tournament, but I did believe I had made the right move at the time.

for sure, it must have been beautiful to see, this is worth more to me than taking the pot, running at the right time is also a victory, congratulations

With two QQ, it's better to go to a restaurant. Drink champagne, dance. But don't play with them in All in.

hello.I think that it is not appropriate to give advice on this issue.it all depends on the type of game, the players at the table, your bank...in tournaments with a small ante time, I would go all in.

ok

QQ plays the same as KK and AA (when K & A do not flop) - the secret is isolating your opponent. You wan to be HU - not trying to outlast 3 calling stations all trying to out draw you with JTx or A2s - because they will!

Do what is required to get HU and play your TOP PAIR like a STRONG Hand. Because it is.

GL GL,

Houdini9

great advice and comment my friend. thanks and gl to see you too

Play aggressively pre-flop. But don't be suicidal. If someone raises, just call and see the flop. If neither A nor K, remain aggressive. If comes out A or K, just pay and see. If the opponent bets high, fold.

ok, thanks for the advice, I agree, I believe that your way is the best to avoid the bads of the game
