Honestly wish I had paid more attention to this course last year. I watched all the videos, but I didn't actively take notes and actually absorb all the info like I needed to.
Just spent the past month putting a lot of time and effort into it while also doing a lot of ICM training
We'll see how it goes when I put it into actual practice but my understanding of what I'm supposed to do is on a totally different level now.

Thanks for putting this together

I comleted the 30 day training course , the ebook and the videos are great , I learnt some new things , and I have to give priority from now on to some new concepts and try to adapt a lot more my game to these , especially when it come to more aggressive gameplay , bluffing , bluff catching and the floating . Actually there are too many leaks in my gameplay , lol .

Many hands , well explained scenarios , unexploitable strategies to win , congrats for the job Collin and Katie have done , and I strongly recommend it to anyone who hasn't completed it yet :) It will help him a lot .

Just a note to say that it's good to review material learned in the past to see how much our game has evolved (as it should have) and what more there is to learn and to increase the stakes accordingly.

Interesting! I already have a different course but I will give this a shot anyway. Never know what I might learn from it. Some of the topics already resonate with what my current goals are so this should be great

I have read the book and finished it right now. It's a great book with a lot of information about the game pre-flop, flop, turn and river. Thank you for the book. I will read it again and again

Retorno ao curso

I'm back here on the site to review this course. I will try to dedicate myself and learn a little more. I also bought the sit and go book by collin Moshman, so go to school.
We are excited to announce that we have a new training course for those who would like to take their poker game to the next level! The course consists of an ebook and 30 videos that work together. It's a 30-day course with a bonus day - but you can take it at your own pace.

The course was written and recorded by our own Collin Moshman and Katie Dozier exclusively for CardsChat members. Best of all - it's free for CardsChat members!

Collin and Katie were very excited to create this course for you after spending a lot of time interacting with you on the forum. Some of the topics included are position, aggression, preflop betting, pot odds, bluffing and more.

You'll find links to post discussion threads in each day/chapter - and Katie and Collin will be available in threads to help you. (They are all located on the Learning Poker forum, if you want to go directly to them on the forum).

After completing the course, be sure to request your badge!

We also have a fun promotion for the course that includes a freeroll:

Poker CardsChat Course Promotion - Freeroll and Prizes!

Good luck and let us know what you think of the course!

Question about day 9 Implied Odds And Reverse Implied Odds

Hello,

I have been watching the day 9 of the course.

I use % for my odds.
Now i need 20 to 1 implied odds for a call.
If i calculated this correctly that means i need 4,7% or more implied odds to make the call right ?

Greeting

Has anyone been able to open the links in the PDF?
They look like underlined text without a link in it.
I use Foxit PDF reader, and as soon es i put my mouse on the underlined text the hand disappears with means its not a link.

Could you provide an example of the hand, seriously if your getting 20/1 odds most hands are a call without much more information, especially preflop

Thanks for the reply.

Its from the PDF file, but don't have a hand example.
In the PDF they say you need at least 20 to 1 odds to call with a pocket pair pre flop.
If i calculate this correct 20 to 1 is 20+1=21 100/21=4,76%
If i had 21 to 1 odds witch is 21+1=22 100/22=4,54%
So when i calculate my implied odds pre flop i should have 4,76% ore less (not more as i posted) to make it a call ?

Greeting

Just What I needed!!

The 30 day course has really helped my game . It certainly opened my eyes to some clear mistakes I was making and I can see improvement in my game everyday! I play 2 live tourneys a month and I can't wait to apply what I've learned. My online game is improving a well although you still get killed by the 23o that calls your shove in the MTTs LOL!!
Thanks I look forward to more great tips from this site and you fantastic Ambassadors
