I play very low risk poker so i am winning more on poker than losing but it is on a low scale. I just play for the fun of it and earning rewards as pocket money.

Over my entire career, I 100% definitely have made a profit - but not much! I know this because A)my poker accounts have a small amount of cash in them and B)I have never made a real money deposit! I got my pokerstars bankroll started by earning some tourney/SnG tickets through their free online poker school; and got $20 (if memory serves) free to play with when I first signed up to 888 many moons ago.

I used to win often, in the last year in the red. Very often luck turns away from me:rolleyes:

The money I earn on PS is the same I win via freerolls :D so I take it as I win cause what I spend is their money haha :)

In the first years I lost money because I did not treat the game very seriously; I was pretty annoyed I didn't have a strategy I didn't like to study and as a result I was losing money on the treadmill. Neither now I can't even say that I can afford to live only from poker, but I constantly manage to make at least some pocket money.

Overall I have made profit from poker. I currently only play micros so it is not a lot, but is something. I keep track of my monthly profit and I can tell you that in November I had some loss.

I personally have won more since starting poker. Nothing big but I am up a couple thousand, plus two sets of chips in small tournaments. Never played big money games as a rule, I do not feel I am good enough.

I always play with that hope, but rarely take anything from online. In face-to-face I usually go better.

If you don't have a spreadsheet with several years of session history, you are doing it wrong. I can tell you exactly how much I have lost and won on every sessions over the last 4 years.
Overall - I'm down, unless I remove all online sessions, then I'm up a little.

well id have to say I jumped in at the deep end without a plan and without scouting the poker world so I lost a lot of times in small stakes and tried to move up too fast because I didn't understand what was going on.
then I discovered most players were using HUDs and this had an advantage over me in knowing my tendencies and in aiding their decisions.....

also I was never in a position to dedicate more than recreational time to the game so it was a double whammy

I kinda toughed it out and got into somewhat of a groove....I think 2014 was my best year....had one mini score winning a tourney for about 3k
but without complete concentration and consistent practice you are kinda wasting your time.....

Hi , I'm just curious .
Did you win more money than you lose at poker in your entire life?;)

I won more because I collected bankrolls with freerolls. His money almost did not replenish. Deduced sometimes 1-2 thousand dollars. I'm a big plus. But the last big wins were a long time ago. On sports rates significantly more lost. Even unpleasant to count the total amount of money lost. And I have never played in casinos, slots and slot machines.

When it comes to online poker. I've probably made a bit of money or broke even. On the other hand all the the live games I've played have been profitable

Hi! I haven't won more money than I've lost. But I think it's because of lack of experience, but I think it's possible to become a successful player. My biggest win was about $ 50, it's not much, but for me it's already a success. I prefer hold'em. I would like to become a successful player, so I am interested, watch videos and read about poker, so I can find a lot of information here on the forum. And how does it usually happen with you? Do you win more often or Vice versa? What was your biggest win?

Since poker is just a hobby for me, I never thought about how much I lost or won. If there is no goal to become a professional, but to play only for my own pleasure, then there is no point in clogging your head with unnecessary calculations! The game should bring joy, despite whether you are in the black or white.

To my regret, I have a negative balance. After losing two or three games. As the carousel, round and round.

Unfortunately not.
Luck and the chance of winning over me are also changing. Spyware could definitely help me to be sure if I had the conscience .. :) but that's not my career.
Once in a while, maybe the financial part of what I have invested in so far can pay off.
