i'd give them pocket money and win it back from them via poker. Those fish will either become the master and i the student, or drown (meteorically of course)

too risky. Poker can be very addicting. I wouldn't incentivize anyone to play it

are you a successful or not successful poker player, will you teach your son to play poker? and do you mind him gambling?
I taught a son, 2 granddaughters and a grandson, if I can, I will even teach my great-granddaughter, look that there are 5 granddaughters and 3 grandsons, a great-granddaughter

Don't think I would. A lot of players regulate their play but some do not and become addicted. Theatrically it's illegal to gamble below 18 anyway, at least in my country so it partly depends on the age. I wouldn't bring someone up with it but if they wanted to learn as adult it's different.

I don't have children, but I do have a dog. I don't think she should start playing poker, although maybe it's not such a bad idea. The dog would play poker, earn money, and I would just travel the world and develop.
I was thinking about this too - Laura (my doggy) is super smart, but she's super aggressive and unstable - I can't send her anywhere alone...🤷‍♀️☹🤣
(She can play online 😍🤣 )

Ont. Yes, if I have a child! 🙂

Yes, I even did.
All my children know how to play poker thanks to my teaching and they do it very well. They win tournaments almost daily and that's how they survive.
From my experience I want to share with you that teaching your children to play poker can pay off.

Hi :)
I have no children of my own, but my girlfriend has children. And I would not teach them to play cards, I would be against it. Children should read books first of all, then in their adult life their head will work well and they will be able to do whatever they want, and they will be able to do it well, because their head will not be empty :)

Will he need it? I think he should choose what he likes.

I'm not planning to have children, but I don't see anything wrong with teaching someone poker (be it a child or an old man) - if a person has problems and no willpower, they will find an addiction one way or another. Let's say that even if a person lost their home because I showed them what poker is, I wouldn't feel the slightest twinge of conscience.

Don't have a son, but tried to teach my daughter. She was disinterested.

I think with the software that a lot of people are using now poker is in a tough spot , and is getting harder to make a wage from it if u are not doing the same

My parents actually got my son interested in poker…my mother was a very good player. My son was using my account at Full Tilt when he was 12 years old…he enjoyed beating the “adults “, and won a 360 player tournament and a ticket to the Saturday $1000 tournament. Now, I hope to live long enough to teach my grandchildren ages 3 and 18 months.
It is a brilliant game for the mind , all types of strategies needed to win a comp , but there are is plenty of dark sides to
It aswell

At the moment, I don't think about children, but I honestly would like to, since it is not only an income, but also the development of the mind, the study of mathematics, and many other things can be learned from poker. It would be at the level of logical games for development, I think it is possible to teach this from an early age

I’ve had my ups and downs, but overall, poker has been profitable. If my son shows interest, I’d teach him the game the right way—strategy, discipline, and bankroll management. Gambling recklessly? That’s a different story.
