I think it depends on the time of day, I make more money when the 9-5 players get off work and hop on a table. With limited time they do not limp in preflop. I also encounter quite a few losing sessions as their junk cards win frequently online.

I think the opposite, the average level is growing because there is more educational content. But I think there will always be enough of those who don't want to learn anything.:)

Yeap. Every year we can see how numbers of people are raising at every room. But just a small percent really want to become pro, other just playing for fun

or is it just my imagination?
It looks like that to me too. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems that at least 5 years ago, players played a more skilful game than they do now. Sometimes it's hard to even call what's happening at the tables poker :)

The skill level of online poker players has evolved over time, influenced by various factors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, online poker platforms experienced a surge in new player registrations, with increases ranging from 30% to 50% compared to pre-pandemic levels. This influx introduced many novices to the game, potentially lowering the average skill level temporarily. However, as these new players gained experience and as the online environment became more competitive, the overall skill level likely adjusted accordingly. Additionally, advancements in technology, such as the integration of AI and analytical tools, have provided players with resources to enhance their strategies. While there might have been periods where the average skill level fluctuated due to an influx of new players, the long-term trend suggests that online poker players are continually improving their skills to adapt to the evolving landscape.

In general, these days they are more aggressive than before, but it is within the reach of information that they rescue from the Internet without knowing when to be aggressive and when not.
