Swingy usually implies that edges are really thin in a game, and at $10nl FR, that's just not the case if you don't drool out the side of your mouth.

Rawr, lets debate the meaning of swingy.

Swingy - (SwIn geee) - When the standard deviation from ones true win rate is large.

You could have a very small edge of like 0.1bb/100, but if the smallest your winrate ever got was 0.05bb/100 then the game certainly isn't swingy now is it? RAWR HAHAHAHA I HAZ BETTER SEMANTICS THAN U!

Meh it just tilts me when people are like "OMG my swongs are unbearable!! i can not adjust!!!" and they post a bunch of EV graphs with one 5 buy-in swing for every 25k hands and the rest of the graph goes straight up, while people I know who play HU/6max have -15 buy-in days regularly and are still huge winning players.

geez sorry for posting my graphs. Im sorry im not playing 400NL. For me, a 10 plus buy in day is huge for me and im proud of the way i am playing as a result of reading more here.

I wasn't talking about you, please stop crying. I was talking to c9 about "swings" and whether or not $10nl FR is swingy (I claimed it wasn't, you would probably agree). Obviously no one is trying to denigrate your +10 buy-in day, I don't think I've ever even had one of those.

Ok, sorry i just love this place and sharing success. I agree, it is not that swingy, for the most part i am dominating it with a few small bad beats scattered here and there.

Jeff Hwang's PLO book is pretty awesome imo and can be had for like $10 for your "Flavor" of the month (sorry to ruin your brain exercise Switch).

Sorry to hear about those results Curtis, it does look like a few coolers. Don't feel bad, apparently this bug is going around, I showed you what happened to me last night with my AA getting cracked AI at the flop vs J2's flush draw and he hit. Just weird plays and beats going around, and it always seems to happen the first week of every month.
