**** HU IMO

His fold to 3bet was 72% over 100+ hands, so of course I decide to just call with my Kings (not that it would have mattered). This of course is after I lose a stack with KQ v his AQ on a flop of Q2Q! :(

people who cheat at online scrabble tilt the shit out of me

sure sexydave89, i'm sure you know the fking word "serosae". its a serous membrane, especially one that lines the pericardial, pleural, and peritoneal cavities, enclosing their contents

who the fk doesn't know that. asshole

lulz, but mroe to the point, where on earth can you play online scrabble? Even though i suck at it since words such as unno, speshul, teh and shmeh aren't 'technically' in the dictionary

His fold to 3bet was 72% over 100+ hands, so of course I decide to just call with my Kings (not that it would have mattered). This of course is after I lose a stack with KQ v his AQ on a flop of Q2Q! :(

Even though his fold to 3 bet is high, you still need to 3 bet here imo. If he had 3 bet and you were deciding whether to 4 bet or smooth, that is diff, but you def need to 3 bet here. If someone has a high fold to 3 bet, you can always raise to 4 to keep it smaller

+1, and if you're just going to flat KK you can't be stacking it postflop unless he's folding to a lot of 3-bets but also a spewtard postflop. The adjustment here isn't to not 3-bet with KK, it's to 3-bet the shit out of him with a super-wide range until he adjusts.

set<wheel, AA<set in huge squeezed pot, set<FD, can't believe I'm only down 3 buyins. Bad day to move up and take shots  At least now I know it's very beatable. Maybe only cause it's saturday night, but the tables were pretty damn good.

Gonna cool off with some dinner and Far Cry 2, then going back to 200nl :)

I officially cannot win a session.

I set out to do a 2 hour session on Stars trying to not look at amount won and just play till I hit 2 hours. My usual sessions are between 1 hour and 1.5 or when I quit cause of losing too much.

Around the 1 hour mark I was up a buy in. Then around the 1.5 mark I lost a buy in to AJ hitting a J on turn and another one on river vs AKs after I cbet and he chased a nut flush draw to the river where he got the Js.

I won some smaller pots and hovered around the break even mark for the rest of the session until this hand right before the 2 hour mark.

He was 16/4/inf with 0% 3bet over 20 hands.
TBH I was just worried about aces.

Actually, flatting with KK and c/ring any flop vs a high fold to 3B% is a perfectly legit play imo. And at 50nl you absolutely can play for stacks on most boards imo, since most ppl's stacking range is so much wider than 2 pair in HU. And i've seen this suggested in vids at much higher stakes etc. Depends alot on game flow and your tendencies, but espeically if you are inclined to c/r flops as bluffs (which i am) flatting monsters is perfectly profitable. Obviously it is bad once you get a little deep tho.

vs guys who always fold to 3B i flat with my big hands and will 3B with s/cs and such until i see him adjust and start to flat 3Bs when they get frustrated.

I should actually read the HHs. For some reason I was thinking this was FR. Definitely agree with you, stacking an overpair is super-standard HU if there's been any aggression whatsoever.

I really think i might have to quit HU...the swings are just awful. Today was a joke, that 24:1 hand above cost me about $250 in the end after he stacked me in one of the few next hands with flush draw vs QQ or something.

Everything is going wrong atm, i'll have some guy 3Bing me like crazy and everytiem i 4B bluff they 5B shove then when i do it shortly after with a hand they fold...i'll have one guy who never folds to a 3B constantly having dominated hands hit, etc. etc. I've concentrated so hard lately on adapting play to villain type but man it has just not been fun lately because it seems everytime i bluff they are at the top of their range adn everytime i hit a hand they are at the compelte bottom.

This month is a giant joke...mostly nl100 w/some nl200 which was "interesting" (dropped $500 like instantly but ended up near even before i decided that nl100 was just fine atm)/
