lol very nice, but wait till you stop running like a god (although i'm sure you play very well that is pretty much a straight upward line). I've only played 4k hands total this month, and the vast majority of it has been me trying to play vs players who have been on the sickest heaters i have ever seen in my life...guys who will play almost 100% of their hands and who flop a pair every single hand, show up with a flush everytime it is 3 to a flush, flop a set everytime they have a pp, you'll 3B and hit TPTK and they will have peeled with 22 and hit a set, etc. Words cannot describe how frustrating it is to have a fish with a giant range who is never folding anything and the one time the entire session you can something you can value shove villain is always at the very top of their range, and everytime you run a bluff villain is at the top of their range and you just never catch any hand, and everytime you do you are either behind or get 0 action.

My HU experience has been "run at $1/hand for a while, lose at $1/hand for a while, rinse and repeat and try not to vomit".

But you are right, most of the players are terrible, however, when you run bad at HU trust me you can't even beat terrible players.

Guess you kept you promise to yourself and stayed away from CC till after the 18th. Glad to see you back.

And Vanquish, that sucks dude but I know you'll be back on top soon.

man his HU video on stox was so bad, so i really hope he isn't given permission to make any more.

You must have had a crazy image to create that sort of dynamic that he would call you down there (ofc hitting runner runner gutshot straight is pretty sick, so perhaps he was justified :p). It becomes so easy to extract super thin value when you know a guy thinks you are bluffing so often that they will call you down with any pair.

Oh and fwiw, I am up a grand total of $4.95 this month (w/ >$1k from top to bottom). Woooo go me!

We were both bluffing a very large amount of the time, it was a pretty crazy session. I was down over $400 at one point and then ended up only down $60 against him, so I guess I didn't do too badly. He basically never folded any pair against me. Problem was I never had a hand, lol.

yer calling w/Q4s from BB then c/cing 3 streets even if it was vs a maniac is like um well yea lets just say i hope he never actually makes a HU video again. That said, i'm pretty sure he plays midstakes? So you might very well find yourself in a video, coz i can't see why else he would be playing nl100 :D

Its different because of this:

As Ac Ah - 0.848
Qd Td 7d - 0.152

In hold'em, their odds of hitting a flush are greater, since they start with 4 cards to a flush. Even when he hits the next diamond, and he's holding all live cards, I'm still a 70:30 favorite over his hand when he has 3 cards to make his flush.

And thats probably the biggest edge you'll ever start with in this game. The problem with stud is that its not like hold'em. You're rarely a 4:1 favorite, and your edge is very small. It creates a lot of variance, its a roller coaster. Last night, the smack-tards ate 100$ from me, and it was pretty seriously tilting.

Vanq totally wins the tilt/omfgmydownswingsucks award tho. Mine's just like 100$, and I've been nasty profitz playing 6-max so it doesn't really matter. But vanq seems to have it a bit worse T_T.
Math gave me a headache tyvm, my point was that it happens, I hate it when I don't fill up with that starting hand, I know you did too. I also hate calling the last bet like you did knowing your most likely whooped.

What site is that Richy ?
And do you stack off with AKos a lot pre ?
I tend to see a flop rather than stacking pre with AK..

Do you stack with AK in FR pre ?
Obviously I bet but when I get 3bet, which on 10nl is usually a big sign they have something, I much rather flat that 3bet than shove over it.

Is this wrong ?
