She was born on a dutch colony in indonesia, spent little time in Holland. All her close family is here in Canada, specifically Toronto.

I'm %50 dutch, don't speak it aside from some swear words though :/

Actually there's not much to report. I had a major server crash at work on the 7th that basically limited my play to like none for almost 5 days. I've just resumed playing in the last few days and I'm getting destroyed. On the month I think I've made just about enough playing HU to cover my day 1 losses at NL100. I think I'm ready to be done with HU tbh but I'll likely stick with it through the end of the month.

Rarely actually. The issue was that all my time was spent building a work around and then rebuilding the server and then taking out the work around. I actually PM'd a couple of folks here the night it went down to do some testing for me when I was implementing the temp fix. Doesn't help that the server is located about 2 hours from my office and I hate driving to DC.

First real session at 25nl....I know a lot said that 25nl had the same amount of bad players at 10 nl, but wow, also a lot more short stacks, it pisses me off tbh :D

I put in my first session at 100nl. I also brought a pair of big brass balls along the way. Looking back and reviewing the hands, I was totally card dead, didn't hit a flop, and did run into one cooler (flop two pair, he flopped trips). My normal mode is 7 tables of 50nl, this time it was 4 tables of 100nl. I quickly identified the solid regulars and actually had some numbers on them already.

All in all though, a positive session ...
Hands: 375
Profit: $18.90
bb/100: 2.52

My "brass balls" hand is below, played against from a solid LAG (39/27/2, with 10% 3bet) I imagine is a regular. He was making a solid squeeze move here, so I decided to be a little crazy or a lot good, you decide.

Im about 99.9% sure that if these are his real stats he is not a solid LAG reg at 100NL FR.

If you guys see me on AIM tonight, make me play. I think I've played like 7K hands in all of November.

went to check my pt so i could say i win because i've played less hands but actually i have 8,382 hands for november despite not playing at all last week.

so instead i'll say get to work slacker!

I created an AIM account for all the CC people who don't use MSN and I posted my screenname in the thread.. You know which one I mean ;)
And will pm it to you just in case, cause I'm not lazy when it comes to stuff like that .. :p

Probably too advanced for me and 10nl although I'll give it a read later, you never know what I might learn ;).

Also feels great to finally have a winning session again !
+2 BIs and not one beat or cooler. I love it, I wish poker was like this all the time. Then again if wishes were horses we'd all be eating steak by now :D

lol Jay your graph looks like a mirror image of mine. Mine goes down quite a bit and finally got up. At least we're both positive on the month though :).

On another note, anyone giving the PCA a shot? I wanted to kill myself in the steps and decided against it mainly because the structure of the last step is not good. First you've gotta luckbox quite a bit and then the finally step only gives out one seat. Considering you're going to be playing other pretty good players (including people who buy in directly) it's not what I want to be doing. Giving an $80 satty to a $650 qualifier a shot. It's top ~11% for this one and then top ~5% for the next one. I know it's a longshot but figured I'd give myself a shot, would be pretty sweet to go (especially as I look out the window and there's snow coming down :().

lol did you go back and count them ?

Played a few pca steps last night, makes me remember why I gave up playing sit and go's, it was hell. Didnt enjoy them and went out with aces or kings on all 4 that i played.

Just hit 6,000 vpp's for the month tonight, looks like i should make platinum without having to resort to 16 tabling at the end of the month.

Fun hand of the day.
