Apparently I never finish in the first 30% in MTT's... does that mean something's wrong? Should I be taking flips more often? I almost never don't outlast half the field, and my ITM% is very good (20% over small sample size, maybe about 16% lifetime), so I feel ok about my strategy.

lost 3 buyins at hu to someone who open raised to 13x bb, liked to massively overbet the pot, 100bb's into 7, or 23x pot betting a limped pot. But alas pairs are hard to make, had q,j on qjt board against j5 to win a stack for a fistpump momentum swing, then ran jacks into overpairs twice, cool

Wow I feel like such a bitch for posting this the day after I said that I was quitting poker. I learned today that life is actually really boring when you have no job and no poker to play, so I hopped on some 25NL figured I could just nit it up and make a few bucks since there was nothing else to do. Well, I kept winning, so I didnt stop playing.

I don't think it is a bad idea for you to drop to a level so low that losses won't tilt you as bad - and rather than work on your game which is already top notch - work on your mental attitude and tilt control.

Learn to enjoy playing again without so much financial risk. And only move up when you know you will continue to enjoy it and handle the downswings.

Maybe it is not that you can never play poker again at all - but that you just can't make it your life.

Take your time with it Brian. :)

So I got an invite to a the dealers game at the local charity room. Will be fun, considering they all use to play my home game last summer.

I love flopping 77's full of kings and then being 2 outed to lose in a live tourny.

It's sweet.
