From PTR concerning datamining at Full Tilt:
"We hope to have everything tracking again tomorrow or Saturday."

So the reason for the major mess at Full Tilt, to stop data mining, actually did nothing more than pause it for ~9 days. Yet, it will likely disrupt the players for months to come.

Yeah, there's not much of a point in playing other good regs if you're trying to make money. There's enough bad players that it's just not necessary really.

and also i'd like any advice, from anyone who plays across sites:

i've got like 65k VPPs on stars so far this year, so i could make SN, which would help me convert the tons of FPPs i've got at a better rate.

would it be completely silly for me to switch to FT before i get to SN (in other words, i'd have to either save my FPPs for later this year and risk converting them at platinumstar rate, or just convert them now with platinumstar rate)?

what if i switched to FT as soon as i got SN and cleared my bonuses? or at that point would i be downgrading (because i guess SN is higher RB than platinumstar)?


should i just stick to stars (and maybe eventually move to something like ipoker with 40% rb)?

I was most pissed when the f'ing dealer button was placed INCORRECTLY while playing at 100nl. That was inexcusable and I asked for my money back for that hand, but have yet to hear from support.

In the meantime it looks like the recent patch has really solved a lot of problems, and software makers and modders are very close to catching up. I have Poker Shortcuts, HEM and a card deck mod all working now, although PSC has some bugs in its beta build.

and also i'd like any advice, from anyone who plays across sites:

Ya seems like going for SN is your best bet right? That's assuming that once you hit it you STAY on stars because you won't necessarily reap all the benefits of Supernova until you ARE a Supernova.

Not sure, but I doubt it. But lot of 2p2'ers have made mention of his extra long hours/days playing. And the fact you can play against him thinking he's the biggest nit on the planet, then all of a sudden he's playing hands like Gus Hansen.
