call or fold?

Good afternoon Jeff, I'm in doubt as to whether my move is correct, in a Mtt, hyper turbo, I'm with 6 big blinds, blinds are in 125/250, villain in the button goes All in 12 big blinds, hero K4s, no small blind, is it okay to call?

Poker online vs live.

Good afternoon Jeff, I have noticed that the results of online poker are very different from live poker, live poker players do not flush with the same frequency, AA does not lose as much as in online poker, because such a big difference in the results of hands
If I compare the first 20 hands of an online poker mtt vs live poker, a lot more times flush, strong hands losing more often to weaker hands, this happens at a much higher frequency in online poker than in live poker, because ?
Thanks in advance for your response and a hug.

Well other then AA I do like to play J9ss & Pocket 33 have some memorable pots w/! I like sneaky hands that you can make the nuts in a way that isn't obvious!

Looks like you played it very well! that 44 hand made a crazy play that will almost never work! I would raise sizable try to get heads up or thin the field of players to a flop. Once 3+ way to flop AA gets tricky to play.

This is def a tricky hand to play. Often times I like to flat not re raise as it is a strong hand that if you 3bet and get 4bet you don't want to fold. This of course depends on player stack sizes and tendencies so having a default way to play it is good but you must be ready to deviate!

Good afternoon, Jeff, what year did you start playing poker?
How long did it take for you to become a profitable player?
And what advice do you have for anyone who is starting out whether you want to be a profitable player?
Thank you in advance, a hug.
I was doing well fairly quickly once started. I was playing w/ friends who all started about the same time. I would suggest to practice/study at a good ratio to how much playing. You must learn as you go! I have a bio on my website explaining my start: https://www.jeffgrosspoker.com/bio

I would appreciate some help on playing ACES early in the tournament. It seems that I either get way too many callers preflop raising to 8 big blinds or so....and i'm tired of shoving 80 big blinds all in preflop. I'd appreciate your perspective.
This would help w/ a Hand History for an example. Raising 8bb pre (after an open and you 3 bet I presume) should thin the field to heads up or 3 way almost for sure at most. Once a flop comes you can proceed depending on the texture of the board and how many players see the flop.

Hi Jeff! I would like to ask you how you handle your anxiety when in a long time of the tournament you do not get good cards?
Hello! Yes this can be very frustrating, patience is huge! You must remember that it comes in waves & you can't force it. Each hand is a puzzle; just because you have gotten bad cards for 50 minutes and you see AJo doesn't mean you should play this abnormally strong for example. This helps me lot when thinking about it.

Hey Jeff, I'm a big fan of yours. One question......what or who inspired you to play poker
Hello think I have answered similar questions before but some of my close friends in the poker world have done so: Phil Laak, Brian Rast, Antonio Esfandiari. Also Hellmuth, Dnegs seeing these guys withstand the test of time & built a name brand for themselves & respect along the way in doing so.

I know the odds, I want the why

Why is it that having an :as4::2s4: a 18.79% of winning higher than if I had :ah4::2h4: 18.69% of winning against :8h4::8s4: with a flop of :10d4::9s4::4h4: ? What advantage does :as4::2s4: have?

Good question; possibly the program you used had a different total number of runs it made so was slightly different? I don't see a reason why would be different your right.

Global poker

Hi jeff

I just wanted to express my concern on global poker for the bad experience I had in a tournament yesterday. I went in all in with a pair of kings. And everyone folded except the big blind last player was thinking about it and had no reason to call with 9 3.
He ended up with 4 3's and even a 9 came up on the flop.
I stayed around reading all the text that people at the table were calling him a cheater which I dont know how that can happen.
Have you heard of anything bad about global poker? Not sure how it can be fixed..

Thanks joe

What's up Jeff! Thanks for taking the time poker homie.

I have a weird question lol

So I'm poor  lmao so I've been playing freerolls and $1.10-$2.20 tournaments

I've always heard that you should have 100x your buy in to play tournaments, however at this time that's just not possible for me so I've been playing with the little bit of money I get from tourneys

What's weird is I didn't expect to do as well as I have. This year and especially the last few months I've just really been getting it

Anyways I placed 5th(won a free sports bet worth $20) on a freeroll on intertops, then on bet online I placed 3rd in a $1.10 tourney ($12.50) and placed 7th in a freeroll (for $3.60)

Unfortunately my dumbass lost it on sit n gos (I want to be good at them and it gets tiring playing four hour tournaments but I suck at sngs)

But when I play tournaments it just seems to click into place and I seem to kill it.

So my question is

Am I fooling myself? Is placing in 3 tournaments in a row a fluke? Or is it actually possible to build my bankroll without a bankroll? (I know its possible to win 100× your buy in on freerolls but I'm not in Jersey and most of these tourneys pay like $22 for 1st place)

I know they say don't enter a $1.10 per se if you have $3
but I just really seem to be doing good

(Tbh my crazy ass wants to enter a $10 as soon as I get it lmao) but im not gonna do all that, I'm sure the it's way harder

So fluke or is it possible to keep placing like a mofo?

Dude imma be honest I don't trust global.

Ok "trust" isn't a good word.

There software is wacky is the best way to put it.

I kid you not when I play at intertops and bet online I consistently place in tourneys but I couldn't really do that with global.

I figured the players are harder but that's not the case I don't believe.

This isn't a bad beat story, quite the contrary

I noticed "patterns" thought I was crazy

Thought I was paranoid

And then I said screw it, ill play according to the software, not poker.

I placed 5th! I placed 5th playing really bad poker (going all in with low cards) and then tried again and got into 1st on a different tournament near the middle of it.

I didn't stay there cause I started trying to play real poker lol

But check out my threads, I have the screenshots up and more on the topic there.

I played on global for years but I'm done with them.

Playing according to the software just makes you learn bad habits.

Intertops and betonline is where its at :)
