I often find it helpful to meditate or do breathing exercises to stay calm and focused. Or take a break if necessary. That works a lot for me to stay calm and play at my best. I read opinions, it doesn't have to be about poker either, a bit of everything. What strategy do you use?

You can swim in the sea at your place)) And so... sudden muscle contractions, try opening your mouth abruptly with neck tension, or exercising...

Whether you like it or not, poker ends up being a bit of a stressful game, when something goes wrong when you don't get your card, but it's part of the game and you need to maintain concentration.

I don't do any exercises or have any special preparation for the game. I stick to bankroll management, so any result, even a bad one, doesn't affect my mood or my confidence.

How do I handle my stress? I don't. I'm used to any situation in poker and have played in different online tournaments at different stages. So I am not exposed to stress in poker. I would even say differently: poker helps me to relieve stress.

From my experience most people seem to find shoving a lot to be a great coping mechanism.

in my case, anti-stress games help, sometimes I lose control and fall into a tilt

The best thing to do is take a break, whether that for 5 minutes to smoke a cigarette or a couple weeks is up to you... But I have found that if I am on tilt the best thing to do is get up and try to collect myself.

Over time, you learn that it's not worth worrying and getting annoyed, because it won't get any better anyway, and besides, your play will only go in the wrong direction anyway.

For me, poker is just fun, so I don't take the game too seriously, although I'm generally patient and disciplined. But I have been practicing meditation for many years and I can honestly say that meditation helps me to live a full life and cope with stress, which has always been a lot in my life.

Hi :)
I don't feel stressed. On the contrary, I think that playing poker is exactly what prevents you from getting stressed. I play in the evenings, after work, and the game allows me to relax mentally and take my mind off current affairs.

Detachment is important as in having no emotions. This is the point you want to get to: A detachment so complete that it almost borders on disinterest. After millions and millions of hands I don’t experience any stress. None.

To distract yourself from a stressful situation, you need to think about something else associated with pleasant sensations and experiences.Don't keep the overwhelming feelings and emotions that caused stress inside, but release the accumulated energy by doing something even unthinkable, for example, washing a window, or playing sports.

I manage stress during a poker session by drinking chamomile tea to help me stay calm and focused. I also practice deep breathing exercises to relax and maintain my concentration. I make a conscious effort not to dwell on past hands or mistakes, as they can distract me from the present game. Instead, I focus on staying in the moment and playing the best I can. I remind myself that in the end, I can only control my decisions and that as long as I give my best effort, that's all that matters. The day after the session, I review my hands to identify areas where I can improve and refine my strategy.
