how did 34 players get into the freeroll on bol when the password was never posted.. sounds like somebody is sharing the password which is not allowed

for those who can not find tournaments
First and foremost you need to watch carefully
every day there are different tournaments for different members of the forum
everyone tells you that you can not see the password if the tournament is for club members
In the beginning, you will be hard pressed to find any information on the forum but after a few weeks you will be clearer
Me personally, it was a lot of hard to find a tournament that is scheduled but after a while it all easier
so do not be upset, everything will be fine

Does the old password stay on the original place until the new one replaces it?
That's the only explanation I am able to think of. Typical case:
- I came 5 or 55 minutes early
- copied an obsolete password
- tried it unsuccessfully and quit
Instead of
- visit the thread again, a minute or two before tourney
- copy the new password
- enter the tournament

If that's the scenario, I repeated it several times :banghead:

Yes. Look at the date too, and the little note in italics at the bottom of the post that will tell you if it's been updated. We typically also make a new post in the thread to "bump" it up to the top.

Short and low quality posts gets deleted. In order to achieve 15+ posts your posts quality need to improve

confused on posting

i have been receiving Cardschat conversation/discussion starting statements or questions for the past few weeks. I have been replying to many of them with what I believe to be thoughtful posts. I have enjoyed many of these discussions and variety of replies. I thought that these posts were what was required for certain levels of membership and/or club status and such. I logged in today to check on where I might stand along that route and it only shows me as having 1 post the day I signed up and had asked a question actually at cardschat.com.

1) Did any of the posts replying to cardschat threads
on facebook count towards anything?
2) If they did not...then where or how am I to post
to get any credit towards things?
3) Is it because my user id is not my facebook name?
4) If yes...then is there any way to link the 2?
5) and any way to regain credit for those posts?

Only posts made on forum counts for our freerolls (freeroll club and 15+ posts), facebook comments and commenting and associating with this forum social pages benefits you in other way, and you can find out more here

Hope i covered all your questions with this, only need to add this about where to post, you can post anywehere on the forum, we have various poker related and non poker related sections, any post that is related to the topic where its posted and contains more than a few words is counted and considered quality so you can post wherever you want. Your post above is for example considered quality, you asked legitimated and detailed question, if all your posts will be of the same level like this one that you will have no problem becoming active and quality member here.
