While online players benefit from four-color decks, live poker is rooted in tradition, making a full switch unlikely. However, offering it as an option in private games or experimental events could be interesting for those who find it helpful.

As many have noted it's not needed live, but quite useful online, especially if you have extra tables going .

I prefer a two-color deck - it's more natural and familiar to me: a four-color deck makes my eyes uncomfortable. Although, I remember a situation when I was minding my own business and playing at the same time. Flop 3 h cards, I see that I have A6h, I go all-in and lose...Looking closer, I realized that it was the ace of diamonds.😆

I don't think the color of the cover is important, that depends on taste and comfort.

I find a four colour deck easier to make out the card suits. Otherwise it can be confusing if two suits are of the same colour. Some sites don’t offer a 4 card colour deck, so that’s annoying.
