I’ve never really played with the four-coloured deck online at all but I can in theory see the benefits.
I’ve only really played a single table at a time so far, last night was my first instance of trying to multi-table (only 2 tables, but it did not go well and my playing improved once I was knocked out of one).
With multi-tabling I suppose the four-coloured deck is easier for you to define suits at a glance, however if you are playing a single table them playing with the four colours wouldn’t be needed (unless you like playing with it of course, each to their own
