Does anyone get angry at slow players in every hand?

I think everyone has the right to play as they like within the rules. If, for example, I play 3-4 tables at a time, then I use my time to make a decision and I think it is perfectly normal, because it's my time, not yours.

I think exactly the same, everyone has the right to play their game as they want, whoever does not like it simply, do not play. Tolerance along with patience are both of the greatest characteristics of a Poker player, if you lack it, it is easy to beat you In the game, it is only to get you out of your boxes and you will start to play badly, I think that slow play is a strategy that helps you a lot to that, to see players despair and know when to attack them to keep their chips

playing slow i feel is a tactical thing used by some players to actually make you just that "angry" or get fed up to just throw you off your game it happens to me most times when i'm leading a table someone just decides to slow down the gameplay to end up folding other times persons just do really have network issues and lags but playing poker gotta have a good mental space to play focusedly

Excellent response, also, a player who plays like that is almost in control of its emotions and it is very difficult to read his or her game, it is a very good strategy and also very hard to aquire, sometimes I try to plake like that but there is a point that I get desperate and start playing faster again, playing slow and behave like that it is a gods of poker technique

I think it’s funny when people whine at me like a 5 year old little girl for “playing slow” lol. They seem to be so self centered and self absorbed that they can’t see past the tip of their own noses! I usually play multiple tables, I tend to want to think a little before I just act on impulse. Every situation and player is different and requires some logical thinking So calm down sweetheart! Everyone gets the same amount of time to act and with the average being only 30 seconds or so I’m usually more annoyed with all the crybabies than the 30 second use of the clock. In short....Grow up and QUIT WHINING!! Lol

I think that each one receives the time bank for a reason, I cannot think it is bad that someone uses it to the fullest because if I need it I can use it too. I agree with the comments about playing at several tables so that it doesn't bother you so much or if you want more action just choose turbo or hyper-turbo tournaments.

I can't play many tables at the same time, I must be concentrated just for one table, so I wach movie often while playing, it helps even when on table is more than one slow player

I dont mind if a player is slow to make a decision but some play in too many games at ounce and are slow . I have noticed that when a player is slow because of too many games they bet faster with good hands than with bad ones.

Yeah, that could get annoying if that is the reason. I guess that why they invented the different speed levels of play. Pick the one you are comfortable with.

Also, could have something to do with internet issues. I know that has slowed me down from time to time and trust me, it’s not on purpose.

Many players believe that if you play fast, you can reach the prize places very quickly, which is wrong. The time of the game depends directly on the time of increasing the level of the blinds and the number of players. The average playing time of turbo tournaments is 4-5 hours, normal ones and even more. Of course it is good to play more hands at a lower level but still. I think those who play slowly are aimed specifically at players like you, when a player is annoyed he often makes mistakes and makes rash moves and is often led on povakatsii.

Turn on the music, it helps me personally.

Yes, it what gets me the most! Treating 2 cards as if it was a book! At least as far as I have seen most slow players get taking out because so many people are gunning for them! Keep notes and see how often a slow player cashes out!! All most zip!

time is part of the rule of the game, I don't care how long it takes for other players to make their decisions, because it may take a while to think about the game or just to displease you, so I prefer not to worry about it

Reading through the thread. I stay away from this place for the most part because I know what this place is all about.

Every so often though, curiosity gets the best of me and I come back for a look. See this thread.

And big surprise when I read it. Not only do you have a bus load full of slow players, they try and justify how slow they play.

Couple people mention slow internet, bad connections, falling asleep, and that’s also true. That happens.

But justifying your slow play?? (It’s my dime, my time) (I play as slow as I want to) (no one tells me what to do).......once again, this forum reveals itself as a penny ante free roller place where common table courtesy is trumped by my rules my way.

Seriously. Does 4 tables of $01./$.02 holdem really require you to take 90 seconds to make each decision? You wouldn’t pull that stunt at a live game......as if anyone here plays live games because I don’t know of any that run 10 cent blinds.

Feel free to piss all over my opinion. It’s no more ridiculous than plenty already offered up. I’ll be back in a couple months to see if anyone added anything worth reading.

I understand the slow play is to give yourself a chance to get in the money on multi-table tourneys and I understand there are distractions at home but if you're doing it to piss off the player that raised you out of the hand, then sucky-baby you! waa waa!
You would otherwise be ashamed and shamed to do it on a live table.
