To make decisions not ruled by your emotions would be a nice ultimate advice.

Ok, I want everyone to put down what the best poker advice they have ever received. You can put the situation, or just a sentence, I think this would be a good learning thread also
Play to Win, Not to loose. That single statement chanced my thinking dramatically and I am now a much better player.

Agree.
Patience is the main key for everything in life. But in poker (especially during a tourney) this is especially true.
Patience is the main key to tournament play.

Only sit at the table or in front of the monitor when you feel well physically and mentally.

I had a very, very long losing phase and someone said to me sometimes you lose sometimes they win. That wasn't good advice but it made me laugh at the time and my advice is accept that sometimes you can lose. And the game isn't over until it's over. As long as you can still play at the table, it's not over yet. 1 chip 1 chair

As simple as it sounds. For me, it's "tight is right. As with many other things, patience is often the key to success here and waiting for the right spots.

Even when I look back on lost MTT's where I was in the upper tournament field and still got knocked out, the reason was often impatience and the need to constantly participate in the game, so that sooner or later you find yourself in unfavorable pots and you are more vulnerable overall.

Hi.
The advice I received when I was a beginner was to be patient and not play with junk. And although it was quite difficult to implement, but in general it was the best advice for me.
Good luck.

Disguise your moves and style.

I think there are alot of useful tips in poker. It could be a wide range of theme in these advice. But my advice is respect the game. At first ut sounds not useful, but if you go deeper and deeper in the poker game you could knew what i mean. You must be open to develop your game everyday, there are so much tools and possibility to increase your poker power.
