Let's be honest, how much money did you lose playing poker?
im way up 9 months was what considered a pro came out even played daily with pros....2/5 i came out even biggest daily loss was around 250 and some change....i have rules to each game before i play maybe im a bit jewish....now my life has changed im ssdi fully....i dont play much and when do my rules are thrown out...I now ALWAYS go for wins over bubbles or anything else when play tournaments....i also play omaha pot limit over anything to run up a bankroll....this is all new in last 8 years since became ssdi...I dont have the skillset i had with cognitive thinking skills honestly....My rules are many...I am over 6 figures ahead to be honest and played online for over 20 years....I am very lucky a five year period I won my most....Some recognizable wins...which dont talk about was another life overall....I was sick so had a lot of time to play the industry was at it biggest stage it was actually a lot easier and I was still healthier where made a lot better plays imo....Im older now but its health that holds me back the most...Its hard on me to even play but I KNOW IT HELPS me mentally so I do it...I still love the fight the competition and now that is more important then money or any other cosnsideration...for that five years again i won most of my bigger tournaments seats etc...i aint fully playing right now been sick awhile again so barely playing league here been skipping freerolls even cause its hard when everything aint meshing up and you feel sick :) Ill get back to it im sure I got another run in me :) but that is the joy that competition that drive etc...biggest things are setting rules following them not breaking them leaving when losing and forgetting that loss for me ? that was everything....seriously follow those tight rules and is not your day quit come back get on horse try again...this is biggest thing to me....WHEN your hot push it as hard and long as you can swings are coming what ive learned its more important for those big wins to go for it over min cashes....I learned that late cause was EASY at one point :) take advantage of that time be willing to go slow when struggling be honest with yourself your game and you can steadily climb its that simple

When I first started playing Poker, I lost $110. Afterwards I spent a long period of time just playing freerolls and refining my game. Then, when I started playing paid buyins again, I already had enough structure to play evenly. I am currently positive at around $500 considering withdrawals and deposits.

I agree, you need to at least learn something first, but some people lose money for years and their game doesn’t change.

On one occasion I lost like 250 dollars, I got angry and played 20 dollar tournaments to recover what I had already lost, and I lost 250 dollars.

If you lose money in poker or betting, you will have to get out of the situation. It is important to overcome psychological dependence, to get rid of even thoughts about winning back.I didn't lose anything.

Finally someone like me who hates, loathes and challenges himself never to deposit(at least on his main site). I have deposited $50 a number of times but only to try out new/other sites. On my main site which was/is pokerstars I haven't deposited in 15+ years.

Overall I've lost none. No idea how much total I've won but even as just a rec/hobby player more then enough over the years I don't have to worry about being a losing player when I finally stop playing or die. Which ever comes first lol.

Cheers!!!

most people never admit their losses, if they say they lost, for example, 10K, then the truth is 100K
I haven't accounted for my losses, but I know that poker was created to increase the number of losers etc

total lie my friend
Why you think that his lying?
I'm in + too... 😉

Example: You going to play two game (doesn't matter if you are playing cash games, tournaments...)
Play on each table for $100 (that's $200, helping with math if someone need it lol)
On one table you win $450, but on other one you lose that $100...are you in + or you going to count it like a lost? 😉

If you say so, a quick look through my deposit/withdrawals in the cashier tells me otherwise but it's ok for you to hate, there are alot of losers out there and I must assume you fall in this category if you don't believe the players who are actually in profit.

Keep trying, one day you'll get there.

it is impossible to win a poker game in the long term, I know, unless you are the president of the bank and find someone to sponsor you
