After playing a live donkament this weekend and busting out before the money, I decided I hadn't beat my head against a wall enough, so I played MTT's all day today to self-induce psychotic episodes.

Here's the last bust out, itm, 14 players left, my M is around 13.

Someone please make my W$SD% go up. It's current value of 41% for August is not quite high enough.

lol ... wow you too bud? Mine is like 46% which is just beyond weird. Last month over 13k hands = 56% ... of course I've only played 3k hands in August.

So, PS bonus requires 25 VPP to clear $1. With the new vpp rules, you get 5 VPP per $1 of MGR, so that's 20% rakeback, right?

How's it going clearing your FT bonus?

i'll probs be done tonight or tomorrow

dunno if i should try to stick around FT a bit or just go back to mass-collecting VPPs on stars so i can have SN and clear my bonuses before year ends

:confused:

FT = Rigged
Stars = Awesome

Easy choice imo

You have RB on FTP? If no, easy move back to Stars. Even with RB I guess if you can hit SN you're probably better off at Stars? Pretty close though.

yea i have RB on FT

i'd be pretty close to hitting SN on stars, but it feels like the games are softer on FT and they run faster

so its like, would i rather just get straight RB on FT and occasionally deal with their stupid software issues etc, but have softer games, or move back to tougher stars, and get higher RB but be forced to clear bonuses and really grind out hands to get that money (and the games are tougher there anyhoo)

what would u recommend :confused::confused::confused:

what is FTPs RB like compared to PS.

What does the ironman stuff and mid year bonuses make your total rakeback at FTP?

Honestly I like FTs software better than Stars, so if your wr is better AND you get more hands/hr AND you get 27% for me it's a no-brainer.

Jake, I'm only familiar with Stars rewards through other posts I've read but I think SN bonuses work out to around 30% maybe a little more depending on what milestones you hit.

As far as how much the Iron Man bonuses add (mid-year/end-of-year and IM points) it would really depend on the stakes you're playing. If you play 50nl and get the full $1200 IM bonuses + another $1200 with IM points it's a pretty significant percentage. If you play 200nl, not so much.

This is 1 of those $0.30 sats, I decided to just lolDONKament it & went all-in 1st hand to find myself dominated to a 3 outer.

More on RB + Bonuses at FTP:

This is based on my experience that 100 FTPs = ~$12 MGR.

If you rake $1500/month, get Iron each month, and buy $600 bonuses with your IM points in Jan/July (so you can clear them concurrently with the end/mid year bonuses) your actual RB number would work out to ~38.5% if my math is correct.

Here is how I figured it:
RB each month on $1500 at 27% is $405 x 10 months when RB is unaffected by bonus clearing = $4050

RB in months when clearing the bonuses brought with IM points is 27% of $900 MGR x 2 months = $486 (mid/end bonuses do not affect RB)

Total bonus $$ = $2400

Total of Bonus + RB = $6936

Total MGR = $18000

$18000/$6936 = .385444
