Never used skype before do u need a mic and other stuff.
Havent played much cash lately as my HUD is screwed at the moment :(

Depends if you are using a laptop or desktop. Most laptops have a built in cam and mic and it all hooks up pretty much automatically when on skype. If you have a desk top you would need to add a webcam. I have a webcam on my desktop that simply plugs in via a USB port, its been a while since I used it I'm not sure if it has a built in microphone I would expect it to.
Once you are set up let me know and i'll PM you my skype address and can gently ease you into a sweat. Its not difficult...
MottoTom and I were sweating some sessions but he seems to have gone underground recently.
Via skype we might be able to help you with your HUD issues as well:)

The only trick will be time coordination, but they are handy and useful. Group Skype call while we watch someone and play poker.

I'm down for this next Tuesday. Maybe somewhere between 11am - 3pm PST? Anyone else have any suggestions? The more people the better also.
I can't do Tuesday, daughters birthday & going out but I'm up for this any other time I can't believe there aren't more takers

Hey guys, I'm looking for a little bit of input on how you all review your own game in the short term? Over 18k hands I managed to win around 25 BI and now after almost 70k I've managed to break even. I know that 70k isn't that big of a sample size and that the deviation can be quite large at this number. So how the heck do we analyze our game or attempt to adapt our strategy at this point?

I guess what I'm really asking is are there any particular filters or reports you guys are running if you use pt4? I'm a bit one dimensional in my hh review. I just tag all of the big ones(mostly losing hands) and as I flip through them I try to take some notes. Other than that I'll look at position and see where I've been losing from and how much. It's an underwhelming approach and I haven't been finding a whole heck of a lot. I could use some ideas!

I use HM2 which is rightly touted as better than PT4 for analysis
you might get a few ideas from my thread
start looking from post #245

I thought you were using HM2 for some reason. So you have Leak buster for PT. Why don't you go through some of the top 5 leaks, and the filters in step 7.

Honestly, that's what I do for my own game, and then I take a look at some of my top losing hands.

If you're doing the sweat tomorrow, let's just sweat you and we can all go over some of your tougher spots together. You're mostly playing 100nl correct?

I have the leak buster and the one that comes with pt4. And yes, probably 90% of my hands are 100nl. Sounds good to me, I could use a good roasting!

Hopeless as soon as he calls this turn bet I'm beaten right?
I couldn't see his hand blinded by the flush draw although I did suspect a set of 888
I cant seem to let go in these spots despite the fact i know I'm beat like here, hes never bluffing here i've too much money in.
tried a blocking bet but Check fold on the end?

poker stars, $0.10/$0.25 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 8 Players

SB: $23.06 (92.2 bb)
BB: $26.27 (105.1 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A:spade: K:spade:
4 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, BTN calls $0.75, SB calls $0.65, BB folds

Flop: ($2.50) T:heart: 8:diamond: K:heart: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $1.79, BTN calls $1.79, SB calls $1.79

Turn: ($7.87) A:club: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5.64, BTN calls $5.64, SB calls $5.64

River: ($24.79) 6:diamond: (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, BTN raises to $16.47 and is all-in, SB folds, Hero calls $11.47

Results: $57.73 pot ($2 rake)
Final Board: T:heart: 8:diamond: K:heart: A:club: 6:diamond:

Hero mucked A:spade: K:spade: and lost (-$24.65 net)
BTN showed Q:spade: J:spade: and won $55.73 ($31.08 net)

These hands are very damaging for my confidence guess in the heat of the hand I'm still just a fish, I'm not stopping to look at the hand properly on the end.

I enjoyed the session today guys! I'll admit I was a bit nervous but I guess that's why they call it a sweat, right?

Here's a hand from shortly after you'd left John. Figaroo read him like a book but I didn't have it in me to bluff here. What do you think?

This picture help you how to get installed Raise First In in different positions PT4.
This allows you to find better players who know how to use the advantage of position. There was certainly a lot of limpers to punish them by raise about pot size like John says.

No, you're not beaten as soon as he calls the turn. It's somewhat closer though because you have KT/AT and flush draws you beat, and you're beat by TT/88 and QJ. But you're still ahead.

I mean, maybe some stats could make a river c/f possible. I don't think GII is some huge leak here though.

It doesn't bring up a good point in what you said. You saw the flush draw, but the straight draw you didn't quite see. That's why straight draws carry much higher implied odds than flush draws.

Yeah it was a good sweat, and hopefully it's something that will help boost your confidence going forward. Sometimes that's all we need to get on a roll.

I think your hand looks great. I think this deep at FR there's not much else you can do here really. I wouldn't try and bluff someone off of K's at these stakes. And it's just much harder to rep Ax once you c/c the flop. So AA becomes harder as well.
