ty. I felt ok letting that one go against him. Wish I was 100bb deep so I could have seen his 22. I had to run shortly after you left so not much else happened. How did your team do?

Ya, I think that you're beat there more than 9 out of 10.

Team lost... but it's double elimination. I'm just coaching, and the manager is horrible. So it's a tough spot to be in. I have all of the knowledge and teach the kids how to play, and he's the brilliant strategist that has never played the game and doesn't want any advice. It's just 7-9 y/olds, but you'd think they were all playing for the world series with how intense everyone is. It's crazy.

Sounds like a tough spot! But I know how that stuff goes. I can remember how nuts my dad was when me and my brothers played sports at children. He got kicked out of a few pee wee football games lol.

:) Yeah, it's pretty intense. It's really surprising to me honestly.

So checkup. How is everyone doing w/ their poker? I'm intensely focused on finishing up the launch for a new product. What's that's out I'm hoping to finish up Vol. III of polished poker, which I'm trying to structure more like a complete system of how to profitably grind online games. In the meantime, what can we address?

Do you guys want to bring more people into this group, or keep it about how it is?

Lol I feel so stuck in my ways in cash games, I feel like I should be playing higher but I'm still not beating 10nl to the levels I want to/should be.

I've just started playing more 5nl 6max just so I can keep experimenting and pushing myself out of my comfort zones. Do you think this is the right way to go in the short term?
I could do with running a few more sweats with others, quite a few people seem to dip in and out of this group you see them for a few weeks and then they disappear. If bringing in a few more people would help that would be good.

I'm not about volume grinding at the moment, it's still about improving. I don't and won't have much time for volume until at least October when work should change. I'm still trying to work my way through all the Zion material.

If anyone sees me online on skype then please don't be shy about contacting me for sweats. I usually only log onto skype when I'm playing.

What can we address? Well I'm still struggling with aggression in the correct spots and bluffing on the river, I can see spots but am not pulling the trigger.

Ok If I open this hand I know I'm going to have to bluff a fair amount.

Is this guy too tight to bluff? If we decide to bluff what sizing?
Comments on whether this board is too wet?
I've been playing quite loose here. Villain has 0% WTSD and his small sizing looks weak, but is it an attempt to get me to spazz? So many questions still!

Yeah... I hear you. I'll think of some areas to address balanced aggression and e can talk about it in group and on here.

I think you're playing well, but if that was one area I would point to, I'd say your aggression needs to pick up in more spots. You'll get there.

No, it's not. But against this kind of opponent I'd mostly either barrel that turn trying to move him off Kx / Tx, or just give up. But no, not a good river spot imho because the only thing you're trying to push him off of now is Tx.

Sometimes its difficult to know what you are struggling with. With me its more Post flop than preflop.

Half the time I don't even know the basics and my mind goes blank regarding When to Bet/Check/Raise/Fold/Pot Control etc

Rhom have a look at week 7 of the Zion Roots course (if you have access) regarding post flop betting.

Hero?

The villain is a confirmed fish and slightly steaming after recently getting stacked.
He is aggressive on the river and will likely shove if we check.

I think we beat as many combos of smaller pairs and 7x as lose to combos of sets, 2 pairs flushes and overpairs. Its clearly marginal to me.
So I'm thinking 2/5th pot size on the river folding to a raise.
Any comments on sizing flop/turn/river?

Your game is looking much much better overall. It's a process, like everything in life. You have those plateau times, and then you have a break through moments that click in for you and then you move to the next level.

Are you numbers above for full ring? It didn't say 6max in the description from HM.

I'd bet a little less on the flop. The turn looks good. I'd check the river and let him shove if he's steaming. If that's your read, then I think that's your highest EV line. If he was just a fish, I might just bet river. He might even think he has a better 2 pair if he hit 78 and pay off big. But on the whole I like c/c on the river w/ your read.

Thanks John,
Would you ever be betting full pot on the flop here against a fish?
If yes how strong should we be, (I'm thinking QQ+)
I was betting full pot for a combination of value and protection here.

All 6Max, I don't play FR, Not Sure where the Fixed Limit appeared from, must be when I played a short session of 20/40 8Game

Last stats I posted were since Jan 2015, this one is just for this year

JJ+ is better for those spots. You want value, and you want to make sure they aren't going to fold. There's just not much on that flop and you don't want to bloat it too much OOP w/o a strong hand against someone that you think is overly aggressive. That would just be my general approach.

I don't recall these. You cleaned him up after I left? Good!

Obviously you run better when I'm not watching. :D

I assume you got back in the green with these?

Yes those two hands and a couple of others not posted, just after you went and I posted the final session figures in the sweaties skype thread. it was something like +$42 Despite the beats there were so many fish I wanted to keep playing. It doesn't make sense to quit when there are fish like that around. It also helped that the full stacks I won were both on the 30nl tables and the beats were on the 20nl.
