What are the best strategies to do well in freerolls?

If the payout I'd some kind of reasonable amount. Like $100 or something that might make a difference to someone then people are more likely to think about their play and thereby might be able to be manipulated or made to fold a better hand/their equity often enough that it's actually a poker game and not just bingo.
If people are playing for $.50 then hardly anyone will really be playing. In this kind of game it would be difficult to win even if you were delta pocket aces every hand. Play Super tight and push with premium hands and hope luck be with you.

I believe that at first you need to play tight, and then look at the distribution of prize places and how many times you need to double in order to get into the prizes.

I'm not so sure that this is the way.

in freerolls you won't find a single tip that will improve your game, it all depends mostly on your luck
