I was playing in a cardschat freeroll tournament, there was a player who had a lot of chips and was playing like crazy, limping the hands he was playing and showing the bluff he was making several times with high bets, many bigger than the bet.

Given the situation, I played a hand against this villain and ended up being kicked out of the tournament, as I didn't believe he would have a strong hand after showing so many bluffs.

How to deal with this situation?

The best insurance against bluffing is to develop the ability to read your opponents' hands. If they are showing strength and you see that their betting pattern is more likely to correspond to a weak hand, trust your reads.Without this knowledge, your bluffs cannot be as effective and you can easily fall victim to someone else's bluff. Remember that good poker players can not only mix up their playing style, they can also adapt their bluffs to the current conditions of the table and the playing style of their opponents.

He was in a very good victorious situation, where he seemed to win all the time. In this case you try to find a weak moment and a good hand to cut this good mood. You do this carefully and you might have your turn to start winning!

I think it's very hard to tell when someone is bluffing in the online game, because every new hand is an enigma, which is very good.

Busting a Bluffer online is so hard, even when they are bluffing with a weak hand they seem to catch straights and flushes, i find the only way to beat them is to make sure you have the nuts after the flop and then force them hard on their hand.

Playing in a CC event you have the opportunity to take & update notes to help with your decision making. You really need to be patient & wait for strong hands against this type of player. Focus on your decision making rather than the outcome.

Sometimes you're unlucky and you can't do it, play thinking about how the card will come out and try not to focus too much on these players, they still don't stay long

Forget about this hand. And next time just be patient, wait for a good hand and take his chips.

Bluffing is part of the game, but in free tournaments people have more fun, but when playing in tournaments for money, bluffing is a difficult part of the game

I also had such situations in this matter, the most important thing is patience and wait for a good hand. And to be honest, I do this myself when I am a Chip Leader

Usually when I'm playing with these players, you need to try and avoid pre flop all ins, and instead wait for your all in until you have hit the flop in a good way, the shorter you get the less you need to shove with.

When you have already hit top pair minimum, then you have a way better chance that the villain is already very very behind with his random any 2 cards

That was me, thank a lot for your chips, I had never enough of them.
Those kind of play style killed me a lot if time. That is the hard part of the freeeroll. Keep calm. Let them knock out each other .

It is difficult to read these types of players, many times no matter how hard you try it seems that luck is always on your side, recently I played a freeroll and there was a player like that, I just waited for my chance and I was able to capture him, I won't say that I was lucky because I had a very good hand, I just think he was unlucky in deciding to bluff at that moment now every time he sees me play he throws something at me. but as I say, this type of player is very lucky because when you least expect it, either he is not bluffing or his bluff ends in a winning hand.

You have to remember that someone who bluffs a lot can still get excellent hands themselfs. As has already been said wait for those good hands to come your way and hope the other players makes a bluff in that hand.

He was just lucky. You wanted to trap him but you had no luck. Everything is simple. I think you did the right thing. I would do the same if I were you.

In online poker, if your opponent has 10 times the chips than most of the table has, they can be wrong 10 times before they suffer consequences for their wild play. You will definitely see chip leaders and their trash cards take out three players. Just a part of the game. Just accumulate more chips and you can play the same way.

I've been in his situation and I also believed that he had a good hand, but luck was with him and he won with two meaningless cards of different suits, as for bluffing, never.

I dont think there is anything you can do. Quite often they are invincible regardless of the cards they started out with, or the percentage. I frequently go out on a hand I had 95% on.

Take this hand, Pretty normal preflop. Peanut has almost nothing. A high card. Two cards away from a flush. Two cards away from a straight.

Peanuts preflop: 13%
Hero: 86%

Flop
Peanuts 20%
Hero: 80%

Peanuts bets 600
Hero Calls

Turn
Peanuts still 20%
Hero 80%

Hero bets 1016
villian calls.

Yup, another 80% hand loses. This happens A LOT on 888. Even waiting for AA usually loses.

I think you should read your opponents, and try to hit a good hand against a player who is bluffing always.
Yesterday I had such of situation, and I just hit the board with two pairs, and I let him to bluff me at the river, and he did this.
Sometimes I am same like such of players who is bluffing always, and as I understand I still have to work a lot to improve my game :) sometimes I make stupid's calls with 66, and I am thinking he it's better, and he will show me now AA, and it's happening always.
