Players sitting out

The best situation when we play is the fact that all players at our table are absent except us. Just raise and collect chips. Whenever only a few players are absent, you often have to try to steal the blinds.

Sometimes there are a lot of absent players at the poker table.It is very inconvenient to play at such a table.I don't see why register if not going to play.Understand the players missing for a good reason.But in games with early registration is sometimes missing half.How do you feel about that?

I really like when a lot of players in some kind of tournament are missing, I agree with the participant - dino -, for me it's fine but maybe someone does not like it!

if there are absent players I do not see it as a nuisance, I see it as an advantage and I try to take advantage of it as well as possible, you must take into account that people do not register and say: hey I will be absent to bother the players, many have problems of internet, family matters, many forget, remember that we are human beings and we are not perfect therefore sometimes memory can fail

ACR needs to change their rules because an inactive player should not be allowed to win a hand. They are not playing and are hence on auto fold. I lost a really important satellite to a players on the bubble one of which won an all in with J5 of hearts and everyone was down to like 3-6 BB.I had QQ.

ACR does not need to change anything. Being sitting out is not against the rules. If you say you lost an important tourney because of a guy sitting out it was just a bad luck, nothing more. Do you really mean that a player sitting out should not win at all? That's ridiculous, isn't it?

That's how coinpoker does it. Also don't like auto shove when sitting out has less than 2 BB.

With that thing, I can agree, I hate this too. And thanks for reminding me about this behavior, I'm going to give feedback about this to Official ACR Thread.
But I still disagree that players who are sitting out should not receive cards or be involved in a hand at all.

I admit I hate when it happens but what can you do. I just try to make the best of the situation. Its also can bring out some of the crazy people when you have this happen and the are raising big every time they can steal those chips. The positive about that is I shove back at them and winning a bigger pot when they fold. Next time it happens just look at it as a opportunity to increase your stack.

No way a player sitting out should be afforded the opportunity to win a pot. It doesn't happen live and it shouldn't happen anywhere.

I try to rake as many chips out of them as fast as possible it can be super annoying but if players are lemons make some lemonade

It could be double edged sword.You could be the the one who is stealing their blind but also that could be any other player who is playing.There's two types of solution i like to apply in this situation:1.i will act aggressively and try to still their blinds as much as i can.If i am successful in this i do not need the second thing.
2.If the other players who are playing also show their interest to steal blinds i will retreat and let them do that.The reason why im doing this is that they now become complacent so it is for me to wait to hit a monster and then eliminate them.After that i will go back to the rule number one and steel the remaining blinds.

That's right. If you suspect someone is doing open raise too light you can 3-bet them light as well or just wait for a monster hand.

Some sites kick players who miss xx amount of minutes or rounds. This is mostly done in freerolls. If someone pays to play then you can't kick them.

I feel really good,just raise and they fold probably some of them register very earley and forget to join to play that tournament

It's a good thing. Once I had a FR table with 2 people that weren't sitting out. Knocked them both out and got a table where everyone else was afk. Spammed call and took blinds and antes for about 10 minutes, was funny and gained a lot of chips from it. If you have a few afks abuse it. Be in more pots since you have more EV than standard play

I do not think that an absent player can affect much, only when everyone wants to steal the blinds of the absent and do not know how to take advantage of that
