The most I ever made was around 13$, it was 3rd place in 100$ freeroll if I remember correctly.
Looking at it monthly it really depends, I don't play that many of them, so I'd say maybe around 2-5$?

I got about 15 dollars last month, but that logically depends on the size of the tournament and its placement, but you can always have a good long-term performance yes.

The most I have made in a single freeroll was $20,50. I recommend playing the ones in partypoker, best and smallest field in my opinion.

Not much cash to be won in freerolls. Mostly tickets for bigger tournaments. Personally I find it harder to earn prices in frerolls than in paid tournaments. People tend to shoot from the hips most of the time in freerolls, making success more random.

It is difficult to have an answer to your question, as it depends a lot on a number of factors, one of which is variation.

anyway, you can use sharkscoop to monitor your games and with a number of games, you can know how much you are winning.

I'm approaching 2,000 freeroll games and more than 2,000 dollars in profit in this modality.

Speaking only of pokerstars the best paying freeroll is Rake the Rake. It's $40 for first place every four days. There's a penny fee to enter, but that's very little.
Now winning a freeroll is very difficult. You need to be beyond skill, a lot of luck.
I usually earn pennies with the freeroll's. My best prize was 11 dollars in a tournament here on Cardschat.
